Can you believe “Twilight” star Nikki Reed got married a month ago (to “American Idol” contestant Paul McDonald), totally stealing the thunder from the wedding of Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1”? “Stealing their thunder?” says the 23-year-old actress with a laugh. “I don't think it's possible to steal Edward and Bella's thunder … I think every interview I do everyone's like, 'It's the most anticipated wedding of the decade!

** (out of four)   Perhaps on some level people fixate on the Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson offscreen drama because nothing in “The Twilight Saga” burns as strongly or clearly as infidelity.   Yes, there's the totally monumental love between vampire Edward (Pattinson) and former human, new vampire Bella (Stewart). Yet the films based on Stephenie Meyer's books almost always have failed to fill in details about anything but the complicated yearning between two beings challenged by mythical urges.

Is it possible to be the best and the worst at the same time? Ask Adam Sandler. His wretched "Jack and Jill" cleaned up at the 32nd annual Razzie Awards last weekend, sweeping the entire 10-category event. Could it really have been that bad? We took a look at the competition in a few key categories to see how this historic victory was achieved.   DAMORAN@TRIBUNE.COM | @REDEYEDANA Worst Actor Victory: Sandler The rest: Russell Brand, "Arthur"; Nicolas Cage, "Drive Angry 3-D," "Season of the Witch" and "Trespass"; Taylor Lautner, "Abduction" and "Twilight Saga...

*1/2 (out of four)   It's a miracle! Not one of those happy miracles, though. More like, “Sorry, Bella, there's now a vampire growing inside you.”   That's because 18-year-old Bella (Kristen Stewart) and her new, much-older-than-that vampire husband Edward (Robert Pattinson) didn't think she could get pregnant. Their error puts a major damper on a Brazilian honeymoon that cools off after Edward decides any more sex will make him murder his wife.   So after...

Stop what you are doing. I have a huge, mind-blowing story for you about a major celebrity. Get this: Katy Perry was caught in ____ while ____ and his limo driver ____ an entire case of ____. I will fill in each empty space on the first Wednesday of the next four months. Excited? Fortunately, entertainment news items aren't released this way, but we're not far from it. Over the course of 20 hours Monday and Tuesday, the official poster for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2” was released in six separate pieces at six different Facebook URLs.

For its 2013 movie awards, MTV has added two new categories to help measure true excellence in filmmaking: Best Shirtless Performance and Best Musical Moment. What do you expect from an awards ceremony that honors Best Kiss, Best WTF Moment and Best Scared-As-S**t Performance? And more to the point, only Channing Tatum from "Magic Mike" was nominated for Best Shirtless Performance?! Although I have no complaint about most of the other nominees save Ted, what about Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey, Adam Rodriguez and Alex...

** (out of four) You could fault arrogant, deceitful, unethical Julian Assange for a lot, but you can't blame him for resenting “The Fifth Estate.” Based on a book co-written by Assange's former colleague Daniel Domscheit-Berg, this scattered thriller presents the WikiLeaks founder (played by Benedict Cumberbatch of “Star Trek Into Darkness” and this week's “12 Years a Slave”) as a manipulative villain. Worse, it puts maximum blame on Assange's shoulders for questionable journalism while minimizing the horrific secrets he helped...

(originally published March 15, 2010) No, Kristen Stewart did not actually urinate on a guitar while playing Joan Jett in “The Runaways.” It just looks like it in the movie. She did, however, sing and play guitar, and she does a pretty decent job of portraying the rock icon in one of the first prominent all-girl rock bands. Dakota Fanning fares even better as Cherie Currie, the highly sexual and very underage lead singer of the Runaways, a band that existed only in the latter half of the '70s but endures in rock history books, both for the...
