It's not the actual ESPN documentary "30 for 30," but this spoof is spot on.  Even if it's a Yahoo! parody of the Emmy-nominated ESPN documentary series, the nostalgia for both Michael Jordan's Bulls' heyday and 1996's Space Jam is what makes the video work. The producers even went far enough to get actual Basketball big-wigs to pretend the matchup between the Looney Tunes and the Monstars actually happened.  Oh, and never forget. The Space Jam website still exists.  Want more?

The Windy City Media Group reports: A Chicago woman surprised her girlfriend this weekend with a flash mob-style proposal at the French Market downtown.  Windy City Media reports that Kristen Sanchez, a Chicago DJ, got a "yes" from girlfriend Deseree Fawn after a coreographed proposal Saturday to the tune of "Marry You" by Bruno Mars.  Read the full story here.  Want more? Presented with minimal context:  We're not entirely sure what's going on here, but this Vine speaks volumes. Titled "PERFECT DATE = ELLIE GOULDING + LORDE = AARON PAUL SINGING FOR A KISS #strangers #theykissed," the Vine shows the trio of stars singing "kiss her!" in unison.  Were they strangers? Did they know each other? Is this yet another knockoff "First Kiss" video?  There's a lot of questions, but for now, just realize these two had a date -- or at the very least a random encounter -- that will be better than any you'll ever...

Time to start binge watching, Sailor Stars.  The entire 200-episode '90s series is set to be released on streaming service Hulu Plus. The first four episodes were released Monday. Viz Media, the company that owns the rights to Sailor Moon, will release more un-cut and uncensored episodes every Monday, according to a press release.  The release will also include the anime's fifth season, which never aired in the US. Your browser does not support iframes. A Sox fan just upped the ante on foul balls. She caught a foul bat. In a game against the Cleveland Indians this weekend, Sox catcher Tyler Flowers lost his grip while swinging his bat during the second inning at US Cellular Field. The bat took one quick hop on the dugout, and a fan with quick reflexes quickly caught it mid-air, saving the crowd behind her from a headshot.  The announcers, of course, joked that she should be signed to the team immediately.    Want more?

A video posted to YouTube on Thursday appears to show three adults blocking Loop traffic as they dance on top of an SUV along with young children.  A Chicago Police News affairs spokesperson initially said police were not immediately aware of the incident, but as of 5 p.m. Thursday, there was no such incident recorded by police that they were aware of. The video appears to have been taken in the middle of the LaSalle and Monroe Street intersection....

It's far from high-definition, but it appears to be the first time you can watch a historic Cubs game from 1965 in color. Cubs blog Bleed Cubbie Blue pointed out the WGN broadcast Friday. It includes "Mad Men"-era commercials for Hamm's Beer and Allstate Insurance. The video was uploaded to YouTube this week.  It's a bittersweet glimpse into the past for Cubs fans. On one hand, legendary announcer Jack Brickhouse can be heard calling the final innings of the game. Unfortunately, it's also footage of a no-hitter thrown by Cincinnati Reds...

A painful loss for the Chicago Bears on Sunday was felt literally for a couple of fans in Edison Park.  A video titled only "WILSON WRECK" was posted to YouTube on Sunday, after the Bears fell hard to the St. Louis Rams 41-21. The video's description only notes a footrace between "Joe" and "Anth" is about to occur. Shortly after "go" is called between the two participants, both wearing Bears jerseys, one of the racers loses his balance and hits a parking sign. Hard.  The video doesn't state the exact location, but through some Internet detective work, we can say pretty definitively it appears...

That was fast.  If you've been to the Violet Hour in the past few months, you've probably noticed the mural of a leaping deer in a forest on the outside of the 1520 N. Damen Ave. bar in Wicker Park. In a video posted last week by @seemax , a time lapse of the entire spray-painting process is shown, and it tells us two things. Artist  Benjamin Oakley Wilson is awesome, and that October--when the video was shot--was really warm, judging by the clothes passers-by are wearing.  Also, the music-- a cover of The...
