History Channel's hit drama "Vikings" began with Ragnar Lothbrok and his brother, Rollo, defeating dozens of warriors in a bloody battle. But as the series ends its freshman season Sunday, the brothers probably won't be standing together. "You don't know whose side Rollo is on," Travis Fimmel, who plays Ragnar, told me earlier this season, adding that the final episodes of the season were his favorites. "There's a brotherly rivalry, you know what I mean? And great conflicts. " As Ragnar conquered the sea, raided the English and battled with his Earl--basically becoming the legend we know today--jealousy has been simmering within Rollo (Clive Standen)

One of 2012's best movies came and went without a shred of the attention it deserves, and it's not as if the film's some obscure, subtitled documentary only a niche audience would see anyway. It's "Not Fade Away," the tremendous feature writing-directing debut for "The Sopranos" creator David Chase, which arrives April 30 on Blu-Ray/DVD. It's a must-see for anyone who loves classic, music-driven coming-of-age stories and how the feeling of being young can excite and change on a daily basis.

Actors who portray professional baseball players are not themselves professional baseball players. So hitting home runs - or just making contact with the ball - isn't automatic. “There [were] some times when I struck out. Struck out over and over again,” says Chadwick Boseman, who stars as legendary Brooklyn Dodger Jackie Robinson in “42.” “At a certain point you wonder, 'Oh, I hope I really can do this.' ” He absolutely did it. When Jane Levy told family and friends she'd star (and have a demon inhabit her) in the “Evil Dead” remake, she didn't emphasize that she'd spend the shoot freezing in just her underwear, vomiting blood on people. “You explain it like, 'I get to be the villain and I get to be possessed and I get to be in New Zealand, which is the most beautiful place in the world,'” said Levy by phone from her car in L.A. “All that sounds good, but the details--it starts to get not so much fun anymore.” The 23-year-old star of ABC's sitcom “Suburgatory,” who spent a short time in Chicago during her stint on “Shameless,” is the best thing in the new “Evil Dead,” opening Friday.

Considering my - um - history with Star Trek folks, you'd think that I wouldn't be so welcome in their universe. Let's face it, the first time I met William Shatner he tried drowning a Jean-Luc Picard Action Figure that he assumed was mine. Newsflash, Captain Kirk! It wasn't! Anyhoo... Despite my checkered past with the crew of the Enterprise , the funny folks of " Improvised Star Tre k " have invited me to be a part of their show this Friday! I'll be a contestant in "The Away Mission Game" where I will be selecting my favorite captain in a "Dating Game" style game-show!
