The stars of NBC's “Grimm” were put through an acting exercise while filming “Beeware,” the latest episode debuting at 8 p.m. Nov. 11. In the episode, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to a case where a flash mob results in a homicide involving a swarm of bees. When fans watch the episode Friday, they'll see the bees. Giuntoli, Hornsby and their co-stars did not while filming. “It was just bizarre acting with bees that weren't there,” Giuntoli told me recently.

On Monday, August 13th , the second season of the supernatural fantasy series " Grimm " will be premiering. To celebrate, the good folks of Universal Home Entertainment have given me 3 sets of SEASON ONE on Blu-Ray or DVD to give away!   To make this contest really special, I've decided to enlist the help of one of the characters of the "Grimm" television series, Detective Dublin ! Now if the name doesn't ring a bell, you obviously haven't been paying attention.

One of my favorite things about NBC's "Grimm" is the relationship between the reformed blutbad Monroe and Portland Det. Nick Burkhardt. And my favorite part of that relationship is just how put out Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) acts whenever Nick (David Giuntoli) seeks his advice. The king of bad timing seems to interrupt Monroe at the most inopportune times, which he does again in "Lonely Hearts," debuting at 8 p.m. Nov. 18. But according to Giuntoli, the relationship is important to both of them.

NBC's two-night "Grimm" event this week presents one of star David Giuntoli's favorite fractured fairy tales, and co-star Russell Hornsby's least favorite acting partners. "I don't know how much I can give away," Giuntoli told me before the season began. "I'll just say Russell Hornsby did not like working with what he had to work with ['Danse Macabre']. It was something on set that was not human. " Now that we know more about the episode, I can only assume Giuntoli was talking about rats--or maybe a corpse.

Detectives Nick Burkhardt and Hank Griffin investigate a home invasion in the latest episode of "Grimm" debuting at 8 p.m. Nov. 4 on NBC. But as you'd expect in a show about fractured fairy tales and an episode titled "Bears Will Be Bears," it isn't your normal case of breaking-and-entering. Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) meet a mysterious family whose cultural background blurs the line of right and wrong, not to mention human and, um, not human. Nick also asks his new wolf buddy, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell)

November 12, 2012 | Tara Dublin, For Geek To Me
When we last heard from Tara Dublin (AKA "Detective Dublin"), she told us about her day on the set of the hit NBC fantasy show GRIMM, and dealing with a " subconjunctival hemorrhage " in her eye. (Yikes!) Now she brings us another dispatch from the set and divulges whether the hunky cast really looks that good from - uh - every angle: Things are getting hinky in Portland. It seems that strange things are occurring all around Detective Dublin. A couple of weeks ago in the precinct, our foxy Captain Renard was poking around in Nick's desk for...

March 7, 2013 | Tara Dublin, for Geek To Me
Hello, Grimmsters! It's been such a long, cold, lonely hiatus for Detective Dublin . There are so many unanswered questions hanging over our heads as we prepare for the return of GRIMM Friday night at 9 on NBC, but probably the biggest question everyone's asking is, “Why the hell has it been FOUR MONTHS since we had a new episode?” If I had a dollar for every time I've been asked that question, I'd have a lot of dollars by now. My answer is, I don't know why. Back when there was no such thing as a DVR, networks would run a whole season of a TV show...

"Falling Skies"will invade San Diego Comic Con on July 13, the latest TV series to announce a panel at the giant fan event July 11-15. Last year more than 100 TV shows were represented at SDCC, and this year's list is growing larger every day. For cast member Connor Jessup , it's a dream come true. "I'm into animation and comics, like going to Comic Con for this show would be my dream," he told me before the TNT series began its second season. "It would be fun to go. " Jessup will be part of the Friday panel for the first time, joining Noah Wyle, Moon...
