It's here! The biggest concert to hit Chicago since, well, the last time Jay-Z was in town rocked the United Center on Wednesday (with another to come Thursday!). Because moments like these are rare - how often do we get to watch the world's two greatest rappers share a stage? - I've documented the the show for your reading pleasure. 7:20 p.m. The dress code tonight is "dress to impress or don't even try. " A surprising number of women have accepted the "look as classy as you can wearing super-high heels and lingerie" challenge--and there aren't many complaints from...

We already know Kanye West and Jay-Z, whose Watch the Throne tour hit the United Center this week, can drop serious rhymes. Our question: Who is the best entertainer? Kanye West Rap shows used to be pretty dull from a sheer spectacle perspective. You'd have the MC, his hype man, his DJ, various crew members, bodyguards and the occasional groupie (or six). Kanye West didn't re-invent what a rap show could be, but he sure did put his stamp on it. The second he got the level of fame he desired, he put on a certified rock show (The Glow in...

Best Jack White, 8:15 p.m. at Red Bull sound stage Since this is a family paper, I can't really describe Jack White's show properly. Just consider the rest of this review a series of expletives and me losing my mind. - Dana Moran Oberhofer, 1 p.m. at Bud Light stage I'm as surprised as you may be. AFI You might know them from the hit "Girl's Not Grey," but this Cali band has a solid arsenal of catchy, melodic alterna-punk.

Like many popular young female singers these days, Taylor Momsen has been criticized for incorporating sexuality into her performances, photos and videos. The Pretty Reckless singer sees a bit of a double standard there. “I can see Robert Plant's dick!” she exclaims of the Led Zeppelin frontman's sometimes-revealing attire. “I don't know if anyone is aware of that, but I don't know why everyone just focuses on women.” In large sunglasses, an Eric Clapton T-shirt and knees popping out of torn jeans upstairs at the House of Blues before...
