If you weren't among the 4.7 million people who watched the Wednesday airings of FX's new spy thriller "The Americans," the network is making it available right here (and on Hulu and any other site that wants to embed it). The 9 p.m. CT Wednesday premiere drew 3.22 million total viewers, and after combining that with encore airings Wednesday FX came up with the combined 4.7 million total viewers. The first airing outperformed the premiere of "American Horror Story" in total viewers (3.18 million)

October brings three unexpected gems to TV: "A Young Doctor's Notebook" on Ovation, "Full Circle" on Audience and "The Returned" on Sundance. "A Young Doctor's Notebook" (Oct. 2) stars Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm, who play the same Russian doctor at different times in his life. "Full Circle" (Oct. 9), from playwright Neil LaBute, follows the individual conversations of 11 people whose lives turn out to be intertwined. "The Returned"  (Oct. 31) is a creepy French drama in which dead people come back years later with no memory of...

New Fall TV shows may be getting most of the ad time these days, but I'm excited about one old favorite that's getting some new blood in its Season 3 premiere. Mother-daughter duo Tippi Hedren and Melanie Griffith guest star in the premiere as Sabrina's (Shannon Woodward) grandmother and mother, respectively. In this first look at Season 3, Jimmy (Chicago native Lucas Neff) and Sabrina are thankfully still together, so when Sabrina's Nana (Hedron) passes away, her funeral brings the Chances face-to-face with Sabrina's mom, Tamara.

ABC's hilarious sitcom "Happy Endings" returns for its third season Tuesday with Dave (Zachary Knighton) and Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) being none too casual about their casual dating, while Jane (Eliza Coupe) encourages her unemployed hubby, Brad (Daman Wayans Jr.), to rekindle his interest in ventriloquism with a dummy named Sinbrad. But the funniest scenes in "Cazsh Dummy Spillionaires" belong to Penny (Casey Wilson), who is stuck in a body cast and relying on Max (Adam Pally) to be her nurse.

Last week RedEye premiered "Read My Mind," one of my favorite tracks from "Television Fuzz," the debut full-length from former RedEye Rock 'n' Vote winners the 92s. Now, the full album is finally here. Below you can download the whole thing for free (or a price of your choosing) or purchase a physical copy. No matter what you pick, you'll hear a satisfyingly hooky pop-rock record, jangly and fuzzy enough to energize you out of this ridiculous weather and start thinking about what you'll be blasting out your windows if it ever gets warmer.

It is 6:45 on a Saturday morning, an hour at which most bars are sleeping off last night's Fireball shots and other assorted bad decisions. "I'm Tottenham till I die …" It is at this hour that Lincoln Square's Atlantic Bar has suddenly bucked form and crackled to life. Bleary-eyed members of the Chicago Spurs, a stateside fan club for English Premier League squad Tottenham Hotspur, or Spurs as they're more colloquially known, exhorting their heroes from half a world and six time zones away.

Most fans have some geographical connection to the teams they root for. Whether you grew up near a major city, went to a certain school or had family in that particular town, it's rare to find someone who simply picked their favorite team out of a hat. Of course, unless you grew up in England or have family there, chances are you're starting from scratch when it comes to the English Premier League. So how does one pick a favorite team? Longtime EPL fans advise against tossing your hat in with the front-runner.

Mantras about living in the moment don't come much more vivid than the chorus of "Keep Me in the Dark," off Chicago electro-poppers The Noise FM's recent album "Attraction.
