His teammates have called him "Mr. Overtime. " Appropriately enough, he earned that nickname after netting the decisive goals in OT in Game 7 against Detroit and in Game 4 in Boston. That makes Seabrook, 28, the fifth defenseman in NHL history to score two overtime goals in one playoff year. Make no mistake: He has made impressive plays this postseason. The defenseman, who has racked up 76 hits in 22 playoff games, is a burly player, listed at 6-foot-3 and 221 pounds. "He's a huge part of our team," teammate Duncan Keith said.

Desperation can be a good thing. Especially when it's about all you have left. Use any cliché you want: The Blackhawks' quest to repeat as Stanley Cup champs was on the line Wednesday at the United Center, down 3-1 to the L.A. Kings in the Western Conference finals. And really, the Blackhawks needed some combination of desperate and dazzling to force a Game 6. Otherwise, they were simply doomed. FIRST PERIOD Dazzling: What's this? Why, it's a Blackhawks power play goal!

Bulls fans are so upset with the NBA, it's a small wonder there hasn't been an Occupy United Center protest. Recent talks between the owners and the players union to end the lockout broke down last week, prompting commissioner David Stern to cancel this month's entire slate of games. That means that we don't know when we'll get another chance to see reigning MVP Derrick Rose and his up-and-coming Bulls team take the court again. In the meantime, RedEye decided to take a look into our virtual crystal ball in the form of the video game "NBA 2K12" and simulate each game we'll be missing out on this season.

HBO's "Looking" might follow the lives of gay friends in San Franscico, but one thing that drew star O-T Fagbenle to the show was the way the stories resonate with people of any sexuality. Many people have had restless partners, for example. Fagbenle stars as Frank, the longtime boyfriend of artist Agustin (Frankie J. Alvarez). As the series began, Agustin moved to Oakland to live in domestic bliss with Frank. That lasted about 10 minutes. Agustin since has initiated a threesome and, after meeting hunky man-hooker CJ (TJ Linnard)

It's easy to forgive the NHL, or at least the Blackhawks, when the team is playing this well. Jonathan Toews and Co. tied a franchise record Saturday by winning their fifth straight game to start the season, and they were going for team history against hated Detroit on Sunday. Could they do it? RedEye tracked how hot the Hawks were during Sunday's game.   FIRST PERIOD 17:36: That didn't take long. Duncan Keith cruises toward the net on a power play and blasts it past Detroit goaltender Jimmy Howard into the top left corner.

Blackhawks. Red Wings. Game 7. The city of Chicago was beside itself with excitement Wednesday, which means there were two possible outcomes: Either Blackhawks Nation would be in hockey heaven, or suffer sports hell on Earth. Here's how the showdown unfolded, with those mood swings in mind. FIRST PERIOD Heavenly: Andrew Shaw goes after Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg, smacking him with his stick and igniting a shoving match near the Detroit bench. Think these guys really want this game?

Are you still ticked about Sunday's Bears loss? It was a special kind of frustrating, a level of hair-pulling and flat-screen shooting that only a few of Lovie Smith's 61 losses have reached. Here are the five worst games for frustrating Bears fans, ranked by amount of yelling we did at our TVs: No. 5: Dec. 11, 2011: Getting Tebowed With Jay Cutler out, the Bears weren't expected to do much. But entering this Denver tilt, Chicago was 7-5 and still had wild-card hopes with a win over a terrible Broncos offense "led" by Tim Tebow.

A cynic would describe Sunday's Bears game against Jacksonvile in two words: trap game. The symptoms are there: the Bears get hyped for a "Monday Night Football" road showdown, they drop 34 points on the NFL's top-ranked defense, then they go into Jacksonville and lay an egg. Maybe. Fortunately for the Bears, they're coached by Lovie Smith, who is 8-2 on Monday nights and 7-2 the game after. Let's look at some of Smith's finest moments on Mondays and the games that followed.   Oct. 16, 2006: Bears 24, Arizona 23 Oct. 29, 2006: Bears 41, San Francisco 10 ...

It's appropriate WWE Superstar CM Punk watched Wednesday night's Blackhawks-Vancouver Canucks bout, er, game from the seats at the United Center. Like a heavyweight wrestling match, the Hawks and Canucks were in each other's faces all night. They nearly invented a new sport: wrestling on ice. "This is what hockey's all about," Punk said during his second-intermission appearance on Comcast SportsNet's "Shoot the Puck" segment. "This is awesome. " Patrick Kane even mixed it up, for crying out loud, getting into a scrum behind the...
