One of my favorite things about NBC's "Grimm" is the relationship between the reformed blutbad Monroe and Portland Det. Nick Burkhardt. And my favorite part of that relationship is just how put out Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) acts whenever Nick (David Giuntoli) seeks his advice. The king of bad timing seems to interrupt Monroe at the most inopportune times, which he does again in "Lonely Hearts," debuting at 8 p.m. Nov. 18. But according to Giuntoli, the relationship is important to both of them.

Minutes after meeting Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Mike Dopud smacked the Academy Award nominee in the face. Dopud was guest starring in NBC's "Grimm" as a French assassin named Marnassier who morphs into a Mauvais Dentes, a lion-like creature. Marnassier was sent to Portland to kill Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), the city's resident beastie-fighting Grimm. In "The Kiss," which premieres at 8 p.m. Aug. 20, the Mauvais Dentes comes up against not only Nick, but his butt-kicking mom, Kelly, played by Mastrantonio.

“Grimm” star David Giuntoli credits his time in Chicago with pushing him out of the woods and into the acting business. “I was kind of lost and I found myself largely in Chicago,” the 31-year-old who grew up in St. Louis told me last week. In “Grimm,” Giuntoli's back in the woods, so to speak, playing Portland Det. Nick Burkhardt, a cop who learns that he's descended from the Grimms, a family of slayers along the line of Buffy Summers. Instead of slaying vampires, the Grimms battle demons, witches, big bad wolves or any other supernatural being from the Grimm...

Trying to get TV's resident big, good wolf on the phone isn't easy, but that's understandable: Silas Weir Mitchell is busy giving "Grimm" its comic moments. The veteran character actor, 42, plays the wolf-like Blutbad clockmaker Monroe in the NBC drama that puts a new spin on famous fairly tales. NBC is capitalizing on the popularity of the show by premiering the second season at 9 p.m. Monday, weeks ahead of the usual fall TV rollout. The early debut meant the cast, crew and writers didn't get much of a break between seasons, and currently are in the thick of filming the new season...

On Monday, August 13th , the second season of the supernatural fantasy series " Grimm " will be premiering. To celebrate, the good folks of Universal Home Entertainment have given me 3 sets of SEASON ONE on Blu-Ray or DVD to give away!   To make this contest really special, I've decided to enlist the help of one of the characters of the "Grimm" television series, Detective Dublin ! Now if the name doesn't ring a bell, you obviously haven't been paying attention.

Detectives Nick Burkhardt and Hank Griffin investigate a home invasion in the latest episode of "Grimm" debuting at 8 p.m. Nov. 4 on NBC. But as you'd expect in a show about fractured fairy tales and an episode titled "Bears Will Be Bears," it isn't your normal case of breaking-and-entering. Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) meet a mysterious family whose cultural background blurs the line of right and wrong, not to mention human and, um, not human. Nick also asks his new wolf buddy, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell)

March 7, 2013 | Tara Dublin, for Geek To Me
Hello, Grimmsters! It's been such a long, cold, lonely hiatus for Detective Dublin . There are so many unanswered questions hanging over our heads as we prepare for the return of GRIMM Friday night at 9 on NBC, but probably the biggest question everyone's asking is, “Why the hell has it been FOUR MONTHS since we had a new episode?” If I had a dollar for every time I've been asked that question, I'd have a lot of dollars by now. My answer is, I don't know why. Back when there was no such thing as a DVR, networks would run a whole season of a TV show...
