Breakups are hard. In other obvious news, crackers are crunchy. Whether it's a long overdue parting of ways, an infidelity of Tiger Woods proportions or flat-out dumping someone you don't want to hurt, breakups are never easy. Heartbreak is the pain that keeps on giving, and your circle of friends and family will spend months looking at you as though you're about to crack and asking tentatively "How are you?" as they give you sympathetic - or just plain pathetic - hugs. If comedy = tragedy + time, I would say that enough time has passed for me to now find the comedy in the breakups I once found so...

The setup: It's the holiday season, prime time to introduce your significant other to your family, right? Right? YEP The holidays are all about togetherness. The people you choose to include in this special time can enhance the already festive feeling of the season. So if you've got a special person in your life, bring him or her to share in the Christmas festivities with the fam. It's not just about the present; it's about the future. If your family is as important to you as mine is to me, having your mate get along with them is crucial.

I rarely get into relationships, however, one night I met a girl and we instantly became girlfriends. Now I've been trying to backtrack and play the "getting to know you game. " She mentioned she was in debt, which was initially a complete turn off seeing as how I love money and despise all people with poor spending habits. And when I questioned her about why she was in debt, she got very defensive and basically said it was none of my business. I think it is my business, especially if she has some sort of gambling or drug problem she hides.

I would have given my cheesecake of the month membership AND my "Degrassi Junior High" DVD collection to write about Kim Kardashian this week, but another columnist already called dibs, so I had to move on to someone equally annoying. However, I couldn't think of anyone else that I thought should be euthanized. Then, for no apparent reason, George Clooney popped into my head. Basing this purely on his public persona, I will say I love George. Conversely, I would never want to date George.
