The lineup for the annual Coachella Music Festival has finally been announced. The festival expanded to two weekends last year and will see appearances from Blur, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phoenix, The Wu-Tang Clan, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Postal Service, Passion Pit, The xx, Sigur Rós, Vampire Weekend, Modest Mouse, Japandroids, Of Monsters and Men, TNGHT, Jessie Ware, and Bassnectar amongst others.   On the local front, Kids These Days, Wild Belle, and Smith Westerns will make apperances between both weekends.

Chicago's going to get a bit of Portland in January. “Portlandia,” actually, so get ready to meet Toni and Candice, the hilarious proprieters of the feminist bookstore “Women and Women First.” Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, stars and creators of IFC's sketch comedy series, kick off a six-city tour in December that will bring them to The Hideout Jan. 18.
