Good news, hard rock fans: Queens of the Stone Age will release a new album in June, the band announced in a press release today. The record will be called "... Like Clockwork," perhaps a winking nod to the lengthy six-year gap between this album, the group's sixth, and 2007's "Era Vulgaris. " Or perhaps it's nothing at all and just me reading too much into a title. Whatever it means, the hiatus between albums has inspired them to return to square one, with frontman Josh Homme telling the Guardian last year "The robots are back!"

** (out of four) Facing the camera, a woman in front of him on her knees, Dom Hemingway (Jude Law) stares ahead and asks, "Is my c**k exquisite?" An extended, single-take monologue about the wonder of this guy's genitalia follows. It's a hell of a way to start a movie and the beginning of the juiciest character Law ("Side Effects," "I Heart Huckabees") has had in a while. The question, then, is whether the actor's embrace of both Dom's hungry hedonism and contrived sentimentality is enough to compensate for feeling like "Dom Hemingway"...

Thanks to an injury, Kobe Bryant (@kobebryant) is watching the NBA playoffs from well off the sidelines. So he did what any athlete with a smartphone would do: He angrily live-tweeted the L.A. Robert Rodriguez had been approached many times to create a TV series based upon his and Quentin Tarantino's 1996 cult classic, "From Dusk Till Dawn. " "I said, 'No, Quentin and I control the rights to it,'" the writer-director-editor said. "We really wouldn't want to do it for television unless, you know, at least one of us was heavily involved and I didn't see myself getting into television at that time.
