Sup Chi-Town? It's ya boy Scotty Brolohan again. It's been mad long since u heard from urs truly but class is crazy hard. And it turns out, unlike algebrah, court dates are not optional. Weak, bro. The other day, me and my bro B-Mac were quaddin' it up after getting our lift on and he was all like, "Bro, the Hawks are thick. " And I was all, "They don't even play until like April, bro. " And B was all, "They started like a month abro. " And then I was like, "Pass the Natty Light" because I wanted some Natty Light.

Well, that should bring the Oscars some younger eyes. “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane will host the 2013 Oscars on Feb. 24, thewrap.com reported Monday. MacFarlane also wrote, directed and voiced the title character of one of the year's big hits “Ted” and proved himself a relatively good sport while hosting “Saturday Night Live” in September. The best thing about this choice is that MacFarlane's actually a performer, comfortable in this setting. He hosted last year's roast of Charlie Sheen and knows how to work a crowd (as both a comic and a singer)

William Shakespeare 's “MacBeth” is transported to a galaxy far, far away in the latest production from Right Brain Theater . Produced and directed by Orion Couling, “MacSith” tells the tale of "MoffBeth" (Nick Toussant), a Jedi General who helps his King (Paul Dennhardt) bring an end to a great galactic conflict. MoffBeth is soon seduced by the Dark Side of the Force in the form of three witches who prophesy that he will be the new ruler of the galaxy. What follows is the classic story of murder, guilt and lust for power told in the melodic rhythms of the Bard, but with the...

Everyone seemed to be talking about what Seth MacFarlane would do as host of the Oscars. On Sunday night, MacFarlane kept that dialogue going, making Hollywood's big night all about Seth MacFarlane. The "Family Guy" creator opened the 85th Academy Awards ceremony with a flurry of jokes ranging from very inside Hollywood to funny to Ricky Gervais-style mean. (Chris Brown still is an easy mark.) MacFarlane got in jabs about Ben Affleck's Best Director snub for "Argo" and Daniel Day-Lewis' attempt to always stay in character...

*1/2 (out of four) If the raucous, unjustly maligned “Project X” recalled hollering in the center of a bonkers, you-had-to-be-there party, “21 and Over” feels like being a sober, irritated designated driver wondering how much longer you have to spend with jackasses you never liked much to begin with. In many ways, the directorial debut from writers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore (who also wrote “The Hangover”) is like “Nephew of The Hangover.” A trio of Washington State college seniors engage in a crazy, intoxicated...

Let's get one thing out of the way: If you have not eaten a burger sandwiched between two halves of a “bun” made from deep fried mac-n-cheese, you have not truly lived. Rockit Burger Bar in Wrigleyville became the latest burger joint to jump on the burgers-with-ridiculous-things-as-buns trends. After seeing buns made from donuts, cronuts and ramen, Chef Amanda Downing said mac 'n' cheese was a natural progression. “[I thought] this could be the answer to the ramen burger," she said.

A year after Billy Crystal helmed the Oscars for approximately the 40 millionth time, hosting duties fall to “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane, who's directed a grand total of one movie and had a minor role alongside Dwayne Johnson (and Crystal) in “Tooth Fairy.” Of course, Crystal's shtick was shockingly stale at the 2012 Academy Awards, and the sometimes-hilarious MacFarlane's one movie happens to be “Ted,” the highest-grossing R-rated comedy of all time.
