Tinder, the mobile dating app that brings unlimited booty call possibilities to your phone, has done wonders for the world of hookups. It's the ultimate in immediate gratification - swipe right to attempt to connect; swipe left to reject - designed to keep singles coming back to the candy store for more. It's efficient, it's fun and - since you have control over who can message you and Tinder accounts are connected to users' Facebook pages - it's relatively safe. So what could possibly go wrong?

Every Memorial Day weekend, IndyCar drivers set their sights on winning the Indianapolis 500, aka the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing. " And some drivers, such as Scott Dixon, make a spectacle of themselves off the track. Like when the 33-year-old New Zealand native was shooting a Target commercial. "We were in Vegas and did burnouts on a little suburban street," Dixon said. "Seeing the expressions on the natives' faces [was funny]. " On Sunday, he and 32 other drivers will compete in the most illustrious race of the Verizon IndyCar series' season.

The setup: Fifty-six percent of Americans believe in love at first sight, according to a "60 Minutes"/Vanity Fair poll released Wednesday. YES For the sake of this argument, I'm going to pretend not to be super jaded at 25 and refrain from asking, "But is love even real?!" Coming from the perspective of someone who's never experienced it, I actually do believe it's possible to get the warm and fuzzies from "first sight," whether that means observing (aka staring longingly)

"I love the Heat. " These were the words that caught my buddy Jesse off guard as the two of us sat at Pequod's Pizza a week ago and watched the Blackhawks and Bulls battle Colorado and San Antonio, respectively. The Hawks squeaked out their game (the last of The Streak) while the Bulls lost in a beatdown in San Antonio. It was during that beatdown that we saw a highlight from the earlier Heat game that nearly made me spit Pequod's all over the table. LeBron James was leading a 3-on-1 break, with his pal Dwyane Wade behind him and Orlando's Aaron...

I've been dating this guy for more than six months now, and I am definitely in love. However, I have a hard time saying it to him since he hasn't said it to me yet. I have muttered it to him when we are drunk, but all he says back is "I care about you a lot. " Should I be concerned that he hasn't said those three precious words to me yet? - Confused The first time the words “I love you” were ever directed at me was in high school. My boyfriend and I were sitting in the bed of his pickup not long after I had gotten out of the hospital for minor surgery.

I have recently met a woman I am falling madly in love with. As a divorced guy at the age of forty I never thought I would say that again. I have dated, a lot, and I just figured love was something that didn't exist for me. We do everything together, hike, yoga, climb, play silly games of Scrabble way too late and then fall exhausted into bed together, where we do nothing. We have been dating for 6 months now and she has made it clear that sex will not happen until the day I make her my bride.

** (out of four) Ah, there's nothing like a hookah session with grandma. Zoe (Elizabeth Olsen) and Jake (Nat Wolff) learn that from experience when they spend time in Woodstock with their mom Diane (Catherine Keener) and her mom Grace (Jane Fonda), who paints a naked dude named Jazz and refuses to name the chickens that roam around everywhere because “They're nature's children, not ours.” As Diane takes time away from the husband (Kyle MacLachlan) who just asked for a divorce, she and her kids encounter new romantic...

There's virtually no middle ground when it comes to Notre Dame; most fans adore the Irish or despise them. If you're on the fence, here are some arguments that might sway you. But that's up to you. Love the Irish … > > Notre Dame players Gus Dorais and Knute Rockne invented the forward pass. And they perfected it while lifeguarding, no less. > > Is there any backdrop as unique as the "Touchdown Jesus" mural? (FYI, technically it's called "Word of Life. ")

Thanks to Corey Crawford & Co., it's still hockey season in Chicago. The defending champs are now only three wins away from a return trip to the Stanley Cup Final, which means it's time for bandwagon fans to come out of the woodwork and buy Patrick Kane jerseys at Sports Authority. I'm the absolute wrong person to judge someone's Blackhawks loyalty. But I've never pretended to be a big supporter. I root for this team because it's positive for the city's economy and warm weather + tight women's Hawks shirts = cool.

In a world of wardrobe malfunctions and waistline criticism, it's nice for People magazine to take a break twice a year to recognize the hottest of the famous hotties. Call it the Leonardo DiCaprio of CTA stops. The Sheridan Red Line station has been passed over again - but not for an Oscar, like Leo. The CTA last week proposed a $1.13 billion overhaul of four North Side stations, from Lawrence to Bryn Mawr, and the accompanying track as part of the first phase of its titanic Red and Purple Line modernization plan. The announcement left some riders seeing red over the lack of inclusion of the Sheridan stop, often chided for its narrow staircases, antiquated wooden platforms and puddles after rainstorms.

** (out of four) Competitive air sex would seem to have infinite dramatic possibilities. After all, it's less like air guitar and more like mimes decided they're tired of being trapped in boxes and elected to tell the dirtiest X-rated stories imaginable. Contestants assign themselves crass names like Hugh G. Rection and engage in depraved performance art (synced to music!) unlikely to appear in any accredited gallery or medium-clean sidewalk. Ask Tom Riley what he enjoys most about playing a young Leonardo da Vinci in "Da Vinci's Demons" and he doesn't say the sword-fighting or the inventions or the romance - but his answer includes all those things. "Oh man, the unexpected, the not knowing what's next. I would say reading the script for the next episode and thinking, 'Holy shit, we're doing that?'" the British actor said during a recent phone interview, adding this about the 15th century inventor/artist/free thinker: "I just kind of love his unpredictability.

New York, Los Angeles, maybe even Seattle. These are the usual suspects for Chicagoans looking for a new home. But one of the sleeper picks slowly becoming a haven for former Second City residents might come as a surprise: Austin, Texas. Population data from the U.S. Census Bureau show that more than 1,500 Cook County residents migrated to the three counties that make up the greater Austin area between 2007 and 2011. That may not seem huge until you compare it with big-name burgs like San Francisco (987)

Over the last month I've fallen in love with one of my best guy friends. Usually I would tell him, but the problem is he has a girlfriend. Trust me when I say I am trying not to be some home-wrecker, but it's becoming more and more difficult to hide my real feelings. Do I tell the guy I love how I feel or continue to love from afar? - Crushed Feelings! What I wouldn't give to bury the whole sodded bunch of 'em and call it a day.
