In case you missed the memo, Justin Bieber is now a man. No, no, there was no ritualistic ceremony -- unless you count his cover story in the June issue of GQ magazine, that is. The days of Tiger Beat and Seventeen are gone. (Are the kids still reading Tiger Beat?) So, just how manly IS the Bieb these days? We scoured the profile to see whether he's made the jump to adulthood, and ranked his antics from boyish to all-man. Yep, we're pretty mature ourselves. damoran@tribune.com | @redeyedana He (presumably)

Kanye West professes his love for Kim Kardashian to Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday, but avoids the "jump-up-on-the-couch moment. " "I don't know if I can express it enough," he says of his love for his fiancé after referencing Tom Cruise's infamous appearance on "Oprah. " "It's almost like people make fun of me for like how in love I actually am it just sounds. " The Chicago native also debuts his "Bound 2" music video, in which Kardashian appears. "Never think that I'm not from Chicago for one second. " In the six months since Kanye West released his sixth album, "Yeezus," he has, of course, said a lot. Yet the above affirmation, said rather pointedly to Jimmy Kimmel in October , stands out among all of the rapper's other quotables. Why? Because a growing movement of locals have shunned the Chicago-raised icon, and the question remains: Is Kanye still a Chicagoan till' Chicago ends? Some would argue no -- he doesn't possess a full-time residence here, rarely comes to town and flaunts an image-conscious outlook far more associated with L.A. or NYC than the Midwest.

Yesterday's debate with Ernest Wilkins about whether or not we'd date Kim Kardashian got me thinking about my actual celebrity crushes. Here is a weird one, Slate's Emily Bazelon This crush on a woman twelve years my senior, who is married with at least one kid, boiled over when she appeared on “The Colbert Report” two weeks ago to talk Affordable Care Act and couldn't stop giggling at everything Colbert said (I attribute this to...

These rational, level-headed folks say, "we must do all in our power to stop Beyonce from attending that god forsaken wedding. Beyonce should not be forced to go and sit through that torture while surrounded by the Kardashian pigs. " Luckily, they give her some stellar excuses to use as well. Is it just me or is anyone else sick of all the lame "Tebowing" photos in pop culture? The media's infatuation with Tim Tebow has reached a sick level. What's puzzling is whenever the Broncos lose, Tebow's not a story anymore. But whenever the Broncos win, it's "Hallelujah, it's another miracle!" You would think Tebow is undefeated the way the media covers him. Oh, but wait, there's more! Did you hear he threw for 316 yards Sunday? Like, John 3:16! Good heavens. He also turned water into Gatorade and was drafted No. 1 on God's fantasy football team.
