** (out of four) Apparently nobody in “The Son of No One” has heard of self-defense and accidents. Otherwise, rookie cop Jonathan (Channing Tatum) wouldn't be freaking out over the reporter (Juliette Binoche) who follows anonymous letters about two unsolved murders that Jonathan committed as a scared kid in 1986 Queens. (Clearly whoever's texting Jonathan messages like “We know what you did” is an “I Know What You Did Last Summer” fan.) Writer-director Dito Montiel (“A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints,” “Fighting”)

**1/2 (out of four) I'm not faulting Paul Dano for being one of the less (to put it nicely) screen-friendly presences in Hollywood. I am faulting “Being Flynn” for shoving Denise (Olivia Thirlby, excellent), a cute and extremely stable employee of a homeless shelter, into bed with Nick (Dano), an aimless, odd-looking bummer. Otherwise, the movie, written and directed by Paul Weitz (“About a Boy”) and adapted from Nick Flynn's memoir “Another Bullshit Night in Suck City,” seeks little sympathy.

To many fans' surprise and delight, the Blackhawks are riding a three-game winning streak while playing without Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. The team has picked up their on-ice workload as a unit, but who picks up leadership duties when the captain is out?  PATRICK SHARP What have you done to expand your leadership role with Jonathan Toews out? Nothing. I continue doing the same things I've done every day that I've been here. Whether Jonny is in the lineup or not, I feel like we [have]

Offensive lineman Jonathan Scott arrived in Chicago on Sept. 10 after six seasons with Detroit, Buffalo and Pittsburgh. He sat down with RedEye and shared his thoughts on Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.   Jonathan Scott: I haven't had any in-depth conversations with [Cutler] because I'm new to the team, but I do remember when we were in the [NFL] combine together. I remember him because he was from Santa Claus [pauses], somewhere … Jack Silverstein: Indiana. Scott: … and I thought that was hilarious.

Jonathan Kite has been performing for as long as he can remember. "My dad and I would watch old movies so I would do old movie impressions," said Kite, who plays lecherous Ukrainian short-order cook Oleg on the sitcom "2 Broke Girls" (7:30 p.m. Mondays, CBS). "I loved running around and doing funny voices. I liked to make people laugh. " Kite went on to wow his parents' friends and co-workers, his classmates and people in grocery stores in Chicago and Skokie, where he grew up. "I would just be silly," he told me in Chicago over his...

It's a Wednesday night, baby, and the "Girls" are alive, just barely. In what can only be described as an "I Love Lucy"-esque adventure on cocaine, Elijah guides Hannah into a royal mess of an evening for her first time trying coke, and Marnie reunites with the mind-boggling sexy Booth Jonathan and finally bones him. As he promised in season one, he DOES scare us a little. Season 2, Episode 3 Hannah tackles a freelance assignment with some help from a junkie, who lives downstairs, and Elijah, who lets slip a secret in a moment of...

“Project X” puts you right in the center of the action - in this case, what may be the biggest onscreen party of all time. Or to put it another way, says “Project X” co-star Jonathan Daniel Brown, the movie has an “anti-authoritarian” vibe similar to the Occupy movement, “just without the whole reforming government thing. And getting drunk and meeting girls.” The R-rated teen comedy, produced by “The Hangover” director Todd Phillips, stars Thomas Mann...
