In a very amiable statement, John Legend has announced both the delay of his fall tour and his disappointment over it. Legend had been planning for the tour to coincide with the release of his upcoming album, "Love in the Future," but said his time table hasn't worked out as planned. "My team and I have made the agonizing decision to put off the tour until 2013 when we know we will have the new music done and will be ready to fully unveil the creative vision through the album and the live experience," Legend said in his statement.

Oxygen has yet to announce a Season 2 of the reality series “The Glee Project,” but as they say in showbiz - the show must go on. Or in this case, pre-production if the show gets picked up. Officials, including casting director Robert Ulrich, will be in Chicago Sunday and Monday for open auditions. “The Glee Project”” Season 1 winner, Samuel Larsen, also is scheduled to make appearances. Those hoping to audition should visit http://thegleeproject.oxygen.com to pre-register.

Chicago designer Katelyn Pankoke will be among the 16 designers competing in the Season 11 of "Project Runway" when it premieres at 8 p.m. CT Jan. 24 on Lifetime. The new season is the first ever teams edition, so the 23-year-old creative force behind Elaya Vaughn Bridal will be be paired with another designer and they will have to make it work together. Pankoke is originally from Parkland, Fla. The designers didn't learn they would be competing as teams until after the arrived in New York to begin filming.

At some point Macklemore and Ryan Lewis went from breakout independent rap stars to a duo it was uncool to like. Rap videos can be tricky to understand as an art form. If you aren't in tune with the culture, you might just dismiss them all as a cavalcade of ginormous butts, bottles, cars and one tough guy in the back row counting a large wad of money. (People in tune know that that's only true 89% of the time.) Chicago has a very storied history of quality rap videos from homegrown stars and it's high time we gave them some cultural appreciation. Here's my list for the 25 best Chicago rap videos of all time.
