*** (out of four) Fortunately, “A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas” consists of more than just Santa holding a bong. Though it has that too. Cheerfully honest about the absurdity of its 3D and the gratuitousness of its nudity (cue the hot nuns in the shower and topless angels in heaven), the film's funny and playful--but only for viewers who'd attach those words to a beer pong showdown with underage kids and a breakfast-assistant toy called the Wafflebot that falls in love with Kumar.

Ichabod Crane has battled an evil Headless Horseman and been baffled by an electric coffee maker in Fox's freshman fantasy hit "Sleepy Hollow. " Yet one of the big topics on social media is the 18th century clothing he continues to wear weeks after waking in present-day Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., from a 250-year slumber induced by his witch wife. "At least he gave them a wash in the sink," joked Tom Mison, who plays Washington Irving's classic character with a twist. "He's considerate.
