Now this in my kind of hippity-hop. On Tuesday's "The Tonight Show," Jimmy Fallon and Anne Hathaway performed Broadway versions of famous rap songs. They gave a show-tune makeover to Snoop Dogg's "Gin and Juice," 50 Cent's "In Da Club" and Kendrick Lamar's "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe. " At the end of that last song, Hathaway offered a special message to all those "dirty, Hatha-hating, bitch-ass" folks. Want more? Discuss this article and others on Show Patrol's Facebook page .

We're still holding our breath for "Gangster's Paradise. "  On the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Monday, the late night host debuted another single from an unlikely rapper - NBC Nightly News host Brian Williams. After garnering more than 8 million views of his rendition of "Rappers Delight," Fallon's team spliced together footage of Williams to create a spot-on cover of Snoop Dog's "Gin and Juice. "  Props to the video editor on this one. It's got to take a sharp ear to pick out audio that makes Williams sound like he's belting out lyrics that include "hoes,"...

Jimmy Fallon has stacked the deck for his first week as host of "The Tonight Show," with a guest lineup that includes his good pal Justin Timberlake. As previously announced, Will Smith and U2 will be his guests for his Feb. 17 debut in his New York studio, where the show is being relocated following several decades in Burbank, Calif. The Feb. 21 guest shouldn't be a big surprise for Fallon's "Late Night" fans: Justin Timberlake will join his good buddy as the solo guest for that broadcast - which means plenty of hijinks to close out his inaugural week.

Swimmy, er, Jimmy Fallon's plunge into the lake is about to break some records.  More than 3,000 people have now signed up for this year's Polar Plunge -- which benefits Special Olympics Chicago -- splashing way past last year's number of 2,300. According to Special Olympics Chicago president Jen Kramer, donations have spiked too, and with a little social media support, she believes this year's event will raise more than $1,000,000.  "We've seen a massive uptick in people who want to participate and donate," she said.

NBC ramped up its fight to gain a younger late-night audience by confirming Wednesday that Jimmy Fallon will take over as host of "The Tonight Show" in 2014. Ending weeks of gossip, NBC made the announcement that current host Jay Leno would end his hosting tenure next spring. Though Leno still is the most-watched late-night TV host, his hold on the coveted 18-49 bracket is tenuous. ABC this year moved its late-night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" from after 11:35 p.m. to 10:35 p.m. as his direct competition, and Kimmel has taken a narrow lead in viewers 18-34.

And of course, for marrying "Weekend Update" correspondent character Stefon during the show's season finale. So what's next?
