In baseball, players come and go and teams thrive or dive straight into oblivion, but one thing never changes: Fans will always show their pride in jersey form. OK, so there are other things that never change, too, but RedEye caught up with die-hards at Wrigley Field and let them tell their stories of why they chose their jerseys. . Logan Johnson, 22, Marengo Ron Santo Ron Santo was an inspiration to me. He's probably one of the biggest heroes in my life, because he went through so much, from battling diabetes and stuff like that, and how he persevered through it. And also he's my favorite Cubs...

At least he's wearing a Bulls jersey? Daft Punk have released a new video for 'Instant Crush' of their album Random Access Memories, and it's something. The video stars Stokes singer Juilan Casablancas, who provides vocals for the track, as a pretty creepy museum mannequin who apparently falls in love. Also, things start on fire.  Judge for yourself, but at least give props to Casablancas for repping the Bulls with a No. 23 Michael Jordan jersey.   Want more? Curses! Cubs fans looking to wear a Theo Epstein jersey might be out of luck. Wrigleyville retailer Sports World, at 3555 N. Clark St., created a Theo Epstein jersey with the number 12 to denote 2012, the Cubs' first season under the guidance of their new president of baseball operations. But a Sports World official said Tuesday morning it cannot sell its Epstein jersey, priced at $184.95 on its website. The site indicates the jersey, originally priced at $199.95, is "out of stock.

The last time the Blackhawks were in the Stanley Cup Final, in 2010, I went to Philadelphia, wore my Duncan Keith jersey and had my physical well-being threatened multiple times. So I decided to try it again, this time in Boston, for Saturday's Game 2. After all, Boston couldn't be worse than Philly, right? They seem like reasonable, level-headed people other than that time they started a war because they didn't want to pay too much for tea. Yeah, it was going to be bad. > > I spent the day taking in the sights in my Keith jersey.

Fans wear their jerseys with pride, whether it's at the game, at the bars or at the office. And even in a sea of them, the die-hards with personalized jerseys are easy to spot. Do you see these fans and think "what a waste of money" or "how cool would my name look on the back?" RedEye tackles these questions in this round of Go Nuts! Cool I am a fan, my personalized jersey says. A very serious fan with disposable income, a fan who would like you to know I am a very serious fan with disposable income.

The buzzword from Episode 2 of "Jersey Shore 5" was definitely "anxiety. " And no, not because I was having an anxiety attack (from watching the show), but because our favorite Staten Island guido, Vinny, was. Thursday's episode started off with the gang heading to Aztec, where Situation ran into Paula, a DTF who first appeared on the show during Season 1 when she was unconsciously having sex with Situation. Cut to the next day, Jenni, Sammi and Vin are scheduled to work at the Shore Store, making T-shirts with offensive remarks about Italian Americans on them.

Episode 6 of "Jersey Shore Season 5" featured the essential combination to a good episode in an otherwise catastrophic season: less Situation, more Meatballs and JWoww emoting with her plastic surgery face. The episode begins with Situation on the phone with his boy Unit, who unfortunately is in Miami with Mark (omg is Unit CHEATING on the Situation?), so the abberific duo cannot bust the lid on Snooki to G-Yanni. The phone call quickly turns to a conversation about two characters we have not met: Deena's sister and Situation's brother, who...

The life of a Hawks jersey is a hazardous one. Spilled beer. Hot wing stains. Grill smoke. Smeared mascara. (Well, hopefully not the last one.) Like any weather-worn piece of sports paraphernalia, a Blackhawks sweater can see its fair share of disaster. But one diehard hockey fan just wants to see bright white and red Hawks gear as the team waits Monday one win away from winning the Stanley Cup. “I'm just a ridiculous fan, that's how it is,” said David Gibson, owner of Gibson's Couture Cleaners in Irving Park.

Wrigley Field turns 100 years young next season, and all the old gal wants is a one-of-a-kind gift from a fan to mark the occasion. Preferably one that looks good with pinstripes. "Something that encapsulates the 100 years of the ballpark, that's what we're looking for," said Alison Miller, the team's senior director of marketing. The Cubs are asking fans to design logo that will be used to commemorate Wrigley Field's 100th anniversary. Through Feb. 28, fans can visit the team's website and submit their creations.

It's the guidos of "Jersey Shore" versus killer sharks this summer on Syfy, with "Jersey Shore Shark Attack" kicking off the network's summer Saturday movies June 9. Joey Fatone of 'N Sync and Vinny Guadagnino of the real "Jersey Shore" head up the cast who will play characters named The Complication, Nooki, Balzac, B.J. and J-Moni, among others. I was kind of hoping the sharks would lunch on the guido gang, but it sounds like the drunken pals will save the day. (Read the full movie description below.)

This week's Episode 7 of "Jersey Shore" picked up right where we left off last time - with Roger lecturing JWoww like she's his teenage daughter. The two had been giving each other the cold shoulder for the past few days because JWoww felt Roger was avoiding her and Roger felt like JWoww didn't trust him. Good thing they talked it out like a condescending alpha male to his "little woman," because JWoww finally got some mental abuse knocked into...

Vinny is back on "Jersey Shore" and all is right in the world of fake tanning, neon makeup and steroids. But it seems the spotlight has shifted over to the Situation, who brings crazy to a whole new level. The crew hits up the club that night and good ol' Snooks gets so excited she pees herself right there on the dance floor. The camera cuts to Mama JWoww who looks disgruntled at her friend for peeing on the floor. There's nothing classy JWoww hates more than a sloppy drunk. But, it's nothing a Shore Shower (approximately 1,000 spritzes of Exclamation cologne)
