Breathe, Bears fans. Just breathe with me. The Bears may have dropped Sunday night's showdown with the Texans, and they may have again failed to win a game without Jay Cutler, and they may have turned the ball over four times without forcing any fumbles, and Robbie Gould may have missed another field goal, and Arian Foster may be the second straight back to run for 100 yards against the Bears ... and holy hell, that all sounds horrible! Where was I going with that? Oh right: looking for the bright spot.

Cutler: "Three. " (This appears to be the correct answer.) Siragusa: "All right, you're ready to go. " (Shakes Cutler's hand)

Offensive lineman Jonathan Scott arrived in Chicago on Sept. 10 after six seasons with Detroit, Buffalo and Pittsburgh. He sat down with RedEye and shared his thoughts on Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. Jonathan Scott: I haven't had any in-depth conversations with [Cutler] because I'm new to the team, but I do remember when we were in the [NFL] combine together. I remember him because he was from Santa Claus [pauses], somewhere … Jack Silverstein: Indiana. Scott: … and I thought that was hilarious.
