Breathe, Bears fans. Just breathe with me. The Bears may have dropped Sunday night's showdown with the Texans, and they may have again failed to win a game without Jay Cutler, and they may have turned the ball over four times without forcing any fumbles, and Robbie Gould may have missed another field goal, and Arian Foster may be the second straight back to run for 100 yards against the Bears ... and holy hell, that all sounds horrible! Where was I going with that? Oh right: looking for the bright spot.

After two straight crushing losses, especially from an offensive standpoint, the Bears needed time to clear their heads before hosting Minnesota on Sunday. And that in no way was limited to Jay Cutler's concussion situation, though Fox broadcaster Tony Siragusa made light of it during Fox's pregame coverage: Siragusa (to Cutler): "Real quick, how many fingers am I holding up?" Cutler: "Three. " (This appears to be the correct answer.) Siragusa: "All right, you're ready to go. " (Shakes Cutler's hand)

The movie "Draft Day" hits theaters Friday. It's about how Sonny Weaver Jr. (Kevin Costner), the fictional general manager of the Cleveland Browns, turns around the franchise. But really, it could easily be about the Bears. How do we know? Because these quotes we pulled from trailers are all too transparent (cough, cough).   "The best thing for the team this season is me. " In the movie: Brian Drew (Tom Welling) pleads his case as the Browns' incumbent quarterback.
