Bears coach Marc Trestman broke a lot of Chicago hearts Sunday. By leaving in a clearly injured Jay Cutler at quarterback instead of opting for clearly capable backup Josh McCown, he may have cost the Bears the game and, due to tiebreakers and other injuries, a feasible shot at a division title. It was the first real gaffe of Trestman's young NFL coaching career, signaling the end of his honeymoon. But every Chicago coach has his fall from grace, and some were far worse than Trestman's.

Corey Crawford worked his nuts off, and now he's getting paid. The goaltender agreed to a six-year contract extension with the Blackhawks on Monday, the same day the 28-year-old had the Cup in his hometown of Montreal to celebrate backstopping the Hawks to their second championship in four years. "Being able to get a chance to bring the Cup back home [with] all the people I played minor hockey with and grew up with and all my family was pretty special to start off - to add this on top of it is amazing," said Crawford, whose deal is worth a reported $36 million and runs through 2019-20.

*1/2 (out of four)   It's a miracle! Not one of those happy miracles, though. More like, “Sorry, Bella, there's now a vampire growing inside you.”   That's because 18-year-old Bella (Kristen Stewart) and her new, much-older-than-that vampire husband Edward (Robert Pattinson) didn't think she could get pregnant. Their error puts a major damper on a Brazilian honeymoon that cools off after Edward decides any more sex will make him murder his wife.   So after just a few days of bliss following a rushed,...

Most of us have high school acquaintances-turned-Facebook friends who pop up on our feeds with updates that make us feel sorry for our 16-year-old selves. THOSE were the people we chose to befriend?! The updates range from the TMI "friend" who posts frequent updates about catching her boyfriend in the act of cheating to the folks who write cryptic, passive-aggressive posts in hopes that someone will ask, "What's wrong?" My problem lies a bit beyond the above examples - it's with certain "friends" who use social media as a platform to panhandle.

"Irreconcilable differences. " Those two words appear in Hollywood more often than "wedding anniversary. " Kim Kardashian is the latest culprit to use this phrase in describing why she filed for divorce from her husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries. Well, I call unfair! Living on Earth, we are all forcibly exposed to the Kardashian world and provided more information about them than we may care to know. And now, after watching butt X-rays and intimate family feuds, we aren't given so much an explanation as to why she wants a divorce?

Their fairytale romance began four years ago on a CTA bus and traveled to the Near North Side last month, where they walked down the aisle. No CTA card required. Alissa and Don Gold married Aug. 24 in Washington Square Park and held their reception nearby at the Newberry Library. They returned from their St. Lucia honeymoon this week. The Wrigleyville couple met on the No. 82 Kimball/Homan bus four years ago during their commutes to North Park. He started tailoring his schedule so he could run into her. One day, they started talking.

I think I've got this sabermetrics thing figured out. I'm on to Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer. After analyzing charts of data, tendencies, numerous situations, probabilities, outcomes, statistics, the Cubs have figured out they need to go after Prince Fielder and/or Albert Pujols. Well, duh. I could have told you that. Geniuses, I'll tell ya. If they're so smart, how come David DeJesus is a Cub? Guy hit less than .250 last year. I want to see his metrics. You know, watching these guys go after the big boys, I suddenly remembered something about...

Oh, I've noticed them. I haven't mentioned them too much because, you know, everybody loves them. Plus, hey, we're still in that honeymoon phase, post-Stanley Cup. Doesn't seem like much can go wrong, except for this little skid they were on. This little four game skid until they won at Vancouver, the one where they weren't winning games in overtime like they used to, this one where goalie Antti Raanta doesn't inspire much confidence. Guys, I'll put it to you this way. There is no one else.

*** (out of four) The romantic drama "Le Week-End" is uncomfortably perched between light entertainment and scarring drama. For Brits Nick (Jim Broadbent) and Meg (Lindsay Duncan), though, so is life. "This was your idea," she tells him after the spouses' effort to return to their honeymoon location gets off to a bumpy start. "How terrible to be in Paris," he responds. The rest of the film from director Roger Michell ("Notting Hill," "Morning Glory") finds the pair alternating between brief moments of love rejuvenated and longer periods of...
