Hannah's Bretzel, a local mini-chain of European-inspired sandwich shops, plans to open a fifth location this spring in the West Loop at 555 W. Monroe St., about two blocks from both Ogilvie Train Station and Union Station. At 3,000 square feet, it is similar in square footage to the River North location, although it's a very different layout. “The one at LaSalle and Hubbard is very long and narrow. This one is going to be much more square,” said founder Florian Pfahler. He expects to have around 60 seats when the restaurant opens in March.

It's a Wednesday night, baby, and the "Girls" are alive, just barely. In what can only be described as an "I Love Lucy"-esque adventure on cocaine, Elijah guides Hannah into a royal mess of an evening for her first time trying coke, and Marnie reunites with the mind-boggling sexy Booth Jonathan and finally bones him. As he promised in season one, he DOES scare us a little. Season 2, Episode 3 Hannah tackles a freelance assignment with some help from a junkie, who lives downstairs, and Elijah, who lets slip a secret in...

*** (out of four) People who know each other extremely well possess the ability to shift, either intentionally or not, from long-developed ease into discomfort. A hand gently stroking an arm can still touch a raw nerve. In “Your Sister's Sister,” Iris (Emily Blunt), her best friend Jack (Mark Duplass) and Iris' half-sister Hannah (Rosemarie DeWitt) personify this precarious closeness. Iris has sent Jack to her father's remote house in the Northwest for some...

Let's get this out of the way - the characters on “Girls” are kind of insufferable, kind of selfish, a lot self-absorbed and very much struggling human beings. They are upper-middle-class, white girl twentysomethings in 2012, after all. And so am I! On the surface, I share a few things in common with the main character Hannah: 24 years old, aspiring essayist, decidedly funny-looking, annoyingly sarcastic at times, horrible decision maker when it comes to men, very low tolerance for drugs (none at all, really)

*** (out of four) In the first few minutes of “Tyrannosaur,” a man kicks a dog to death, and another man urinates on his sleeping wife. If you're someone who goes to the movies to have a good time, there's the exit. Their loss. The feature directing debut from actor Paddy Considine (“Submarine,” “In America”), who also wrote the script, shines as an uncompromising character study about people's propensity for faith in the face of adversity, and anger that quickly transitions into cruelty.

What a twit. I mean tweet! On Tuesday, Miley Cyrus fired back at the haters who were calling her fat on Twitter. She defended her womanly curves by saying she loved her body and posted a picture of Marilyn Monroe with the caption: "Proof that you can be adored by thousands of men even when your thighs touch. " I'm proud of Lil Miss Thang. Not because I necessarily agree with her retort, but for an 18-year-old who's had some pretty un-Disneylike slip-ups, the girl really tried to set an example for her 3.5 million Twitter followers.
