Some people will do anything to gain Twitter followers. Actress Kate Walsh took her quest to the pole Tuesday on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show. " Walsh, who plays an ex-stripper in FX's new drama "Fargo," did a pole dance as DeGeneres threw dollar bills, silly string and other things at her. It was actually DeGeneres's idea. Walsh recently reached 500,000 Twitter followers and posted a video of her doing a high kick as a thank you. DeGeneres, who has 28.5 million Tweeps, said she could do better.

Thebe Kgositsile, p.k.a Earl Sweatshirt is the one member of the LA rap collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (or just Odd Future..you know,if you're texting or something) that we haven't seen much of since the video "Earl"  (Don't watch that at work) that helped propel the Odd Future clan to meteoric heights over the past year.  Welp, he joined Twitter today with a promise to release a new song when he hits 50k followers. A year after their first foray into transitioning to an entirely outdoors music festival, Riot Fest organizers put all of their cards on the table to make 2013 the biggest year yet. They stocked the lineup with everyone from legends (The Replacements) to crowd-pleasers (Fall Out Boy), added Denver to the list of out-of-town expansions, kept ticket prices lower than any other fest and promised a full-on experience with the return of carnival games and sideshow performers. Who knew taking a nap on a long flight could be so nerve-racking? It is when you're a pro athlete and your teammates have a smartphone handy. Having fun at your friends' expense and sharing your personality are social media staples, and they're catching on in the Bulls locker room. The Twitter and Instagram accounts of Nate Robinson and Carlos Boozer are particularly entertaining. Off the court, "Booz" is one of the more affable guys on the team, and his Internet presence is a reflection of that, even though it took him some time to get into social media.

WGN America is new to the scripted drama business, but its first series, "Salem," is looking like a scary winner. The story of the infamous witch trials in 17th century Massachusetts, "Salem" will premiere April 20, the network has announced. It's second drama, "Manhattan," is set to start production in March in New Mexico with an eye on a July premiere.
