Some Chicagoans will be biking for beer next weekend, not to raise money for it, but simply to go get at a couple of the area's most notable breweries. The ride was conceived and originally organized by Mark Sinclair in 2006, with the destination of choice being Three Floyds brewery in Munster, Ind. Later that year, however, Sinclair passed away from a brain aneurysm, so his friend Robert Hsiung has organized the event each year since, because Sinclair had hoped for it to become an annual ride.
