I rarely get into relationships, however, one night I met a girl and we instantly became girlfriends. Now I've been trying to backtrack and play the "getting to know you game. " She mentioned she was in debt, which was initially a complete turn off seeing as how I love money and despise all people with poor spending habits. And when I questioned her about why she was in debt, she got very defensive and basically said it was none of my business. I think it is my business, especially if she has some sort of gambling or drug problem she hides.

I currently am dating a friend's brother who is a complete sweetheart. Here's the problem: I am not attracted to him. We have been together for three months and only had sex twice, and both times I have not enjoyed it. He's on the heavy side, has tattoos, both nipples pierced, etc., and I know it's all physical, but emotionally I am not into him either. He works in the freezer in a food store (he is 29, hates school, but after meeting me he wants to better himself within the store)

I've been dating a girl for about six months now, and we don't see each other often, but even so, it's become obvious to me that we're not compatible. I don't think she'll be torn up about this or anything, but how can I break up with her in a way that lets her down gently? Any tips are appreciated.--Delicate Dumper Breakups are the worst--the crying, the disappointment, having to re-monogram of all your towels, etc. However, I'm glad that, even though things didn't work out as planned, you are still taking this gal's feelings into...

I've been dating a guy for about a month now. We're not that compatible, and to be honest, I was mostly spending time with him to avoid the inevitable holiday loneliness. This sounds worse than it is. Who knows, maybe he's doing the same thing? So, my question is two-fold. One, since NYE is coming up, am I obligated to spend the evening with him? And two, how do you break up with someone you were only seasonally dating without making it obvious that's what you were doing? - Blue Christmas Seasonal dating!

I am currently in a debate with my head and my heart on if I should rekindle my relationship with a recent ex. My heart says "Yes, go for it! He's amazing, wonderful, funny, sexy, smart, and your best friend!" Yet my head (and everyone including key family members around me) says "Hell no, what are you, nuts?!" We dated on and off for two years and have been off now for 5 months. I moved out, got promoted and have a great life going on. He has a house, a career and we always have the best time together.

Gearing up for some spring cleaning soon? Just make sure you dump all your trash in your own containers. One resident voiced concern on neighborhood-centric site EveryBlock about their neighbor improperly dumping trash and furniture on their side of the alley. If that problem happens to you, Streets and Sanitation Department spokesman Matt Smith advised contacting 3-1-1 to report it. A ward supervisor can be called out to assess the situation and take action. Under the city's municipal code, it is unlawful...
