You just can't keep Helen Magnus from a goal once she sets her mind to it. No on knows that better than Will Zimmerman. In the Nov. 18 episode, "Icebreaker," Helen (Amanda Tapping) flies with Will (Robin Dunne) into a snowy, stormy area of the Bering Sea where Henry (Ryan Robbins), Declan (Robert Lawrenson) and his team from the UK Sanctuary are stranded on a shipwrecked icebreaker. "Icebreaker," written and directed by Martin Wood, looks like one of those classic, trapped-in-a-tight-space "Sanctuary" adventures.

"Sanctuary" fans have heard a lot about the upcoming musical episode. Here's an exclusive first-look clip from "Fugue," which debuts at 9 p.m. Nov. 25 on Syfy. In the episode, written and directed by Damian Kindler, an abnormal attacks FBI agent/Will squeeze Abby (Pascale Hutton). When she wakes in the Sanctuary infirmary, Will (Robin Dunne) discovers that she's possessed by the abnormal, who appears to have a penchant for singing. Will and Magnus (Amanda Tapping) learn that the only way to communicate with the creature is through music.

Insurgents from Hollow Earth resurface in the next episode of "Sanctuary," resulting in a happy reunion and an unexpected betrayal. Kate Freelander is back on Earth, instead of inside it. (The best part of that news, however, is that Agam Darshi is back on "Sanctuary. " I've missed her these past few episodes.) In the sneak peek for "Acolyte," airing at 9 p.m. Dec. 9 on Syfy, Kate and Will (Robin Dunne) interrogate an abnormal who is part of the Hollow Earth team plotting an above-ground attack.

Finally, the most addictive show of the 2011-12 season, "Revenge," returns with a new episode this week. I haven't seen the episode, but ABC has circulated several clips that drop some big clues about "Doubt," which airs at 9 p.m. April 18. Daniel's in a bad way as he sits in Riker's Island prison awaiting trial for bat-shit crazy Tyler's murder. "I don't want to draw any more attention to myself," he tells Emily (Emily VanCamp) during a sadly non- conjugal visit. But don't fear, Shirtless man of the Week fans.

The scenario many have dreamed of, and still many others have dreaded, has come true: Notre Dame football has finished the regular season 12-0 and will play for the national title. The program is often in the spotlight - though that's not always a good thing. Here's a look at the high and low points of each coach since the Fighting Irish last won the national title, in 1988.   Lou Holtz (1986-96) High: He won the 1988 national title, took Notre Dame to nine consecutive New Year's Day bowl games and to five top-10 finishes in the AP poll.

Being Dr. Helen Magnus' right-hand man isn't really good for your love life. Just ask Will Zimmerman, who takes another hit for the team in "Fugue," the much-anticipated musical episode of "Sanctuary" airing at 9 p.m. Nov. 25 on Syfy. As you can see in the video sneak above - and the exclusive sneak peek I showed last week - Will's love, FBI agent Abby Corigan (Pascale Hutton), has come under the control of an abnormal who understands only musical frequencies. In this scene, Helen (Amanda Tapping)

Christopher Heyerdahl's name is synonymous with such characters as John Druitt and Bigfoot of “Sanctuary,” Todd the Wraith of “Stargate Atlantis” and the vampire Marcus in the “Twilight” films. Add to that list The Swede, his menacing character in AMC's post-Civil War Western, “Hell on Wheels.” “Isn't he amazing? What a great character, huh,” Heyerdahl said during a recent interview, giving credit to pretty much everyone on the production but himself. Yet Heyerdahl turns in the unforgettable, Emmy-worthy performance as The Swede,...
