If you spent hours shoveling a spot only to have your dibs disappear, you might want to check Craigslist.  An ad posted Tuesday claims hundreds of chairs of all shapes and sizes are for sale for $5 a pop, all collected from various shoveled-out spaces on the North Side.  "In driving around the North Side these past few days I'm seeing hundreds of chairs being abandoned on the streets," the seemingly tongue-and-cheek poster writes....

How desperate are Fall Out Boy fans for tickets? If Craigslist is any indication, the answer is very. Surprise tickets to see the band--which has been on a break for three years--play at Subterranean went on sale Monday morning. Seconds later, so did a host of posts on Craigslist absolutely begging for a chance at admission. How far are fans willing to go to score tickets? Fixie single: Look like Lincoln Park. Ride like Wicker Park - $300 (Bucktown). That was the title of the Craigslist ad Skip Tramontana wrote in five minutes while eating breakfast at the Bongo Room on Tuesday. It was one of many ads the single dad put up trying to sell some extra stuff to pay the nanny. Two days later, not only did the bike sell after sparking a bidding war, but he has also gotten multiple job inquiries, six offers for dates and tons of emails from offended bros and hipsters.

A suburban man was accused of stealing equipment from a Lakeview recording studio and trying to sell some of it on Craigslist, county prosecutors said. Andre Baker, 26, of Calumet City, visited Rax Trax Recording at 3126 N. Greenview Ave. on Oct. 25, the day employees noticed that two microphones were missing and one had been damaged, prosecutors said. A recording studio manager later found one of the microphones, valued at more than $1,300, being offered for sale on Craigslist.

Charlene Zomaya bought her white wedding dress, shoes, jewelry and plane tickets for her destination wedding in Lebanon. Her fiance was tasked with booking the venue and ordering the flower arrangements. Then came a phone call that lasted only 30 seconds but changed everything. "It was maybe two weeks before the wedding that he called and said he didn't want to get married anymore. He didn't explain anything and just said, 'I don't want to.' And none of that stuff was refundable," said Zomaya, 26, a social worker who lives in Ravenswood.

Hoping to score last-minute tickets to Pearl Jam? Be careful. A far South Side man was arrested Wednesday evening for allegedly selling counterfeit tickets to tonight's Pearl Jam concert at Wrigley Field on Craigslist. A 22-year-old Lakeview man was looking for last-minute Pearl Jam tickets online Wednesday morning, prosecutors said, when he saw a Craigslist ad for two tickets for $250 each.
