*** (out of four) It's really weird to see Adam Scott and Amy Poehler, who are spouses Ben Wyatt and Leslie Knope on NBC's awesome “Parks and Recreation,” playing a man and the stepmom he hates in “A.C.O.D.” On his phone, she's identified as the Contessa, except with a “u” in place of the second letter. However, it's good to see Scott headlining a movie, particularly one that effectively uses his signature blend of cluelessness and arrogance. He's mastered the face of mild annoyance that things clear to him aren't clear to others.

Ringling Bros. could have used Luol Deng when the circus was in town last week. The 28-year-old forward has been juggling roles in the wake of Derrick Rose's season-ending injury last month. His latest position: the Bulls' go-to guy. In Monday's triple-overtime loss to New Orleans, Deng played 55 minutes, scored a season-high 37 points, nabbed eight rebounds and posted seven assists. Competition lingered large in the hair on this week's "Bachelor," as the eyes became starrier, the sighs got heavier and the claws grew longer. Starting with an ominous Kacie B. voiceover along with a shot of an ambulance, it was sure to be a cold, dangerous reminder of the champagne-soaked, high-stakes reality of the "Bachelor" fantasy. What they don't know is that said royal is actually Matthew Hicks, a 24-year-old British environmental consultant who just happens to look quite a bit like the U.K.'s cheekiest redhead. So just how convincing is this non-royal charmer?
