Believe it or not, Chicago, Patrick Kane turns 25 on Tuesday. So many goals. So many photos of him drinking. But that's all in the past now (the second part, not the first). He's all business right now anyway. “I think we're always on the road for my birthday," Kane said last week. "It's always the [Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey] circus trip that's going on. Looking at the schedule I think we're on the road for 12 or 13 days and we have like seven games so there's not really too much time to do anything.

This could only happen in the Windy City. The one awful series in this legendary NBA first round involved your Chicago Bulls. Fortunately, the Blackhawks are starting to look like favorites to repeat as Stanley Cup champions. And we're approaching the stage of the playoffs when beards transition from quirky to downright creepy. -Patrick Kane scored two goals Friday night in a Game 1 win against the Minnesota Wild. He's also sporting his annual “Business in the front, party in the back” spring hairstyle.

Throwback Saturday! The CTA announced it will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Yellow Line on Saturday with rides on two train cars from the 1920s. The event will be held at 11 a.m. at the Oakton-Skokie stop, 4800 Oakton St. For $2.25, attendees can ride 4000-series train cars built in 1923 and nicknamed the "plushies" because of their green plush seats, the CTA said. The cars also feature wooden roofs, interior mahogany trim, electric fans, lights with glass lampshades and porcelain handholds for riders who stand.

In a truly seminal moment in pop culture history, slightly famous Canadian Justin Bieber will turn 18 on Thursday. Bieb's fans have big plans for his birthday -- CBS reports they'll try to break a Guinness World Record for most social media messages in 24 hours. While we're sure they'll succeed, we're pretty sure Bieber probably has more exciting plans for his big day. Rogers Park resident Tim Sarrantonio wasn't going to let his 30th birthday pass like any other day. He made sure to ring in his third decade in style. On Sunday, April 29, Sarrantonio hosted " The Timtacular ," a massive birthday party with a philanthropic twist. More than 800 people were invited to Goose Island Wrigleyville to be entertained by live music  and stand-up comedy from Cameron Esposito  while at the same time supporting a handful local charities. "All these people would be gathering anyway," Sarrantonio said.

Wrigley and the Cubs had their birthday cake, and now it's in the trash. The 400-pound Cake Boss-created birthday cake for Wrigley's centennial was a spectacle at Wednesday's celebration.
