Zachary Levi tweeted about it Sunday, but now we have proof. He and Betty White did make out at her star-studded 90th birthday party. "Soooooo, I may have just made out with Betty White. This is not a joke. #bucketlist," Levi tweeted. In the first clip above, you see the "Chuck"star, complete with faux hawk, doing his comic bit for White during "Betty White's 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America's Golden Girl," which will air on NBC at 7 p.m. Jan. 16. He tells her he wants to marry her, shows her a ring and a prenup, and says he needs an answer soon so he can...

You know the stars of TV Land's new sitcom, “The Exes,” from their past hits, including “Seinfeld,” “Scrubs,” “Third Rock from the Sun” and “The Starter Wife.” Keep those happy memories in mind if you tune in Wednesday. “The Exes” ( 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, TV Land; 2 stars ) is infinitely more entertaining than Fran Drescher's mediocre “Happily Divorced,” but like that TV Land show it pales in comparison to the network's “Hot in Cleveland.” “Cleveland,” by the way, returns Wednesday to unhook us from last season's cliffhanger in...

The Screen Actors Guild announced its nominees for the 18th annual SAG Awards this morning, and to say there were some surprises would be an understatement. I was happy to see Patrick J. Adams from USA's “Suits” earn a berth in the best dramatic TV actor category - although it is a bit puzzling when you consider all the other possible nominees. I love Adams on “Suits,” and I applaud the guild for giving a young actor encouragement, but I'd give that spot to anyone from this list first: Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins from “Justified,” John Noble from...

"Community" fans don't have to wait too much longer for the NBC comedy to return. According to a tweet from creator Dan Harmon, "Community" will be back at 7 p.m. March 15, in its usual Thursday spot. NBC confirmed the news in a press release, and included the new Thursday lineup. "30 Rock" will shift to 7:30 p.m. followed by "The Office" at 8 p.m. and "Up All Night" at 8:30 p.m. "Parks and Recreation" will take a break until 8:30 p.m. April 19, taking the place of "Up All Night," which will have ended its season.

It looks like "Community" will be back Feb. 7, but nothing is a certainty when it comes to NBC and this show. The network seems to be treating it like a bastard stepchild. On Tuesday, the network announced its midseason premiere dates for three new series and new days/times for some returning shows. Here's the rundown: The Bill Pullman presidential sitcom "1600 Penn" premieres at 8:30 p.m. CT Jan. 7. The mystery "Deception," which was formerly titled "Infamous" and stars Meagan Good and Victor Garber, will debut at 9 p.m. Jan. 7. The new Eva Longoria...

The setup: The official start of winter is only two weeks away, yet Monday's high temperature in Chicago was 70 degrees. Not everyone's so thrilled about the lack of snowflakes. MEAN A Chicago winter without cold weather and snow is like Betty White at a Ke$ha show: It's barren, awkward and out of place. I miss snow. I walk past megawatt-level holiday light displays every day, and the dull reflection of an LED snowman off a damp patch of brownish-green grass is depressing.

Have you ever wanted to track down your favorite celebrity and ask them to make a message for your voicemail or anwering machine? Plenty of geeks have done that at sci-fi conventions, and most of the time the celeb is very gracious. Of course that tends to annoy all the other folks who are waiting in line to get an autograph, and quite frankly, I think it's presumptious to ask the celeb to do something so above and beyond what is normally done. That is, unless they are trying to raise money for Autism Speaks , which is the case in this very special...

Chicago native Danny Pudi and “Community” fans got a big surprise Friday during a flurry of news about what we'll be watching on the TV networks this fall. The beleaguered NBC sitcom has been renewed for fifth season. “Wild times and I truly didn't know what to expect. But that's always been our show--we never know what to expect,” Pudi wrote in an email. “Gotta thank the fans [and] my mom … for cheering on the Greendale gang. GO BULLS!” Did I mention Pudi's from Chicago?
