Jay Cutler could kick your ass. Let's just get that out of the way. He's an NFL quarterback, paid very well to stay in peak physical shape, and unless you're a war vet or cancer survivor, he's probably dealt with a hell of a lot more pain than you. After watching the beating he's taken on gamedays recently (sacked 75 times since the start of 2010, more than anyone on Earth), you'd think every Bears fan would respect Cutler's ability to play through pain. The man did indeed tear his MCL in the NFC Championship game in January, even if you heard from a friend of a friend who works for the Bears that "he...

We said we'd never forget. We repeated it over and over every Sunday for weeks, years, decades even. We still say it as often as we can: "We'll never forget. " But the truth is, some of us HAVE forgotten. How else can we explain letting Tim Tebow slip through our fingers? We forgot. You may not know what I'm talking about, so let me refresh your memory about the lyrics to "Bear Down Chicago Bears," specifically the line: "We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T formation.

The Bears host the Giants on Thursday in what should be a great game. And it should be a track meet, as the Bears are beaten up on defense and the Giants defense has been nonexistent. Which means both teams could have fantasy game changers. Jay Cutler, Bears quarterback It's Year 5 for Cutler in a Bears uniform, and from a fantasy perspective he is a dud. Cutler lit it up with the Broncos, especially in 2008, but has been a fantasy disappointment with the Bears. This year is a slightly different story, as Cutler is very effective in coach Marc Trestman's offense.

It's one of the weirdest sports stories we've heard in a while: Homeless man breaks into White Sox general manager Kenny Williams' townhouse, drinks beer, eats pizza, defrosts a lobster and uses the computer before leaving dressed in Williams' clothes and wearing his 2005 White Sox World Series ring. Wayne L. Field III was arrested Monday and charged with residential burglary in connection the break-in that occurred over the weekend. Enough with that, now on to the fun stuff.

Kyle Orton's triumphant return to Soldier Field wasn't so triumphant Sunday. Orton checked into the game to start the second quarter after Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback Tyler Palko was pulled. On Orton's first play, the Chiefs got tricky, trying a flea flicker. But when Orton unloaded a pass intended for Jon Baldwin, his hand hit Bear Major Wright on his follow through. Orton went down immediately, clutched his right index finger, then stood up and motioned to the Chiefs sideline while holding his hand awkwardly.

Carolina rookie quarterback Cam Newton has done something no other NFL quarterback has ever done. Not Peyton Manning. Not Tom Brady. Not Michael Vick. With three rushing touchdowns Sunday - his 11th, 12th and 13th this year - Newton broke the single-season record for quarterbacks set by Steve Grogan in 1976. Henceforth, let's call him Big Newton. Newton came into the league a question mark, but he's proved himself capable of playing QB in the NFL. Now, if only the Panthers could win a few more of these games.
