When you're being considered for your first major role and it's to play a sex-addicted teen, you might have to do embarrassing things while auditioning. Laura Slade Wiggins, who plays Karen Jackson on Showtime's "Shameless," learned that first hand. "I had to do two blowjob scenes and I'm Southern Baptist," Wiggins told me Nov. 9 while on the Chicago location shoot for the series, which debuted its second season Jan. 8. "Instead of like pantomiming the blowjob I just kind of put my head in my hands and was shameful.

Stay tuned in a few weeks for my full Q&A from today's interview with Chris Pine (and director/co-writer Alex Kurtzman) about the family drama "People Like Us," which opens June 29. For now, enjoy the full story behind an audition Pine previously mentioned went terribly but didn't elaborate: "I have a feeling that story will haunt me for the rest of my life. It's one of these things--sometimes you can leave your car in Burbank, Los Angeles and walk into a conference room and your back is sweating and you're thinking about the...

It happens all the time. You see some new show or hot, young comedian/actor/musician and immediately think, "This is terrible! I can think of 20 people who are way better than this chump. Hell, even I can do better than that. " Well, one of the things we need to change in this world is people not putting their money where they chew their food. I'm just as guilty as anyone else, so I decided to put myself out there: On Tuesday, I attempted to audition for the reboot of "In Living Color," the seminal '90s comedy show that brought us Jim Carrey, Damon Wayans, Jennifer Lopez and...
