I don't normally use my massive platform as a cultural and political force here at the 16 th highest trafficked blog at RedEye to stick it to individual companies. After all, in the pursuit of a reliable and profitable business, all companies make mistakes. New Coke, Starbury sneakers, the George Clooney Batman movie - bad products surface. Yet after ordering lackluster Chinese food with a friend the other night, I fear I cannot maintain silence on this one. No, it's not the lackluster Chinese food establishment that sparked my white-hot ire, but rather the fortune cookies included with the meal.

I've been dating this guy for about a month. He's super awesome, super sweet, lots of fun, and a pretty good match for my personality. There's just this one little thing that has been causing me great anxiety. He's got no money and doesn't seem at all ambitious or willing to take risks with his career as an artist/musician. Don't get me wrong, I totally don't care about money. I don't judge, or want to be some rich man's quiet wife. What I'm concerned about is that in the short time that we've been dating, I've paid for nearly everything.

I have a history of falling into long-term relationships, so I've taken a no-dating vow for the foreseeable future. This doesn't mean that I don't want to flirt or make out or have sex, but I don't know how to tactfully bring up my wish to stay single to new people without shutting off different ways of relating to each other. Any hints?--Not A Player Fear not! The government stopped issuing those pesky mandatory Commitment Tests when Motel 6 patrons complained it was "getting in the way" of their adultery.

I like this guy and we see each other around a lot and talk sometimes but should I be all old-fashioned and wait around for him or grow some and ask him?--Waiting I learned something startling the other day, Waiting. According to the recent census , the most common job for women in 2012 was to be a secretary. This was also the most common job for women in 1950. Sixty years have passed, more women are getting their graduate degrees than men, and women are starting their own businesses in droves, but still the most common job is secretary.

Jay Cutler, welcome to fatherhood. I'd like to tell you it's all teddy bears and precious smiles and that fresh-baby smell, but I'd be lying. And I don't want to do that to you, Jay. You see, we have something in common, you and I. We are now both fathers--and we both started down this road at the ripe old age of 29. My kids are past the diapers and pacifiers stages, though, which puts me in the unique position of being your fatherhood mentor....

I am single and actively dating, and I recently received some advice from male friends that I should make myself less available to the men I date and try playing hard to get. My question is, does this really work? And if so, what are some effective strategies? - Mouse Seeks Cat You know, I was all prepared to launch into militant all-caps speech about how honesty is NOT JUST A TEA BRAND, but there is research that suggests playing hard to get does work in some instances. In a study published in the European Journal of Personality, psychology researchers ran four experiments on hundreds of U.S. college students about playing hard to get and determined that everyone does it, but women do it more than men, and that it can be helpful in landing a mate.

As a fantasy football player, the only thing I am thinking about is the playoffs (where is Jim Mora when I need him?) and what to do to have success in the postseason. So here are some things to think about before you set your lineup this week. Play your Denver Broncos The Broncos have more than just Peyton Manning. While he's terrific, there are many Broncos who are great fantasy options. Receiver Eric Decker has eight touchdowns and is averaging 62 yards a game, and Demaryius Thomas has five scores and averages 93 yards receiving per game.

How long do you have to be dating someone before you can invite them to be your plus-one at a wedding? I've been on half-a-dozen dates with a guy, but we've known each other for over a year. I have three weddings this summer, and don't want to go solo, since most of my friends are in relationships. But, I also don't want this guy to think I'm getting too serious, too quick. I'm into him, but I'm definitely not ready to walk down the aisle with him or anything. Do wedding dates freak guys out?

I recently moved across the country and in with my main squeeze, but we are kind of freaking each other out. We are both feeling so moody and sensitive that none of our normal ways of comforting/relaxing are working right now. How can we normalize things? - Regretful roommate Moving in with someone is difficult enough, but moving across the country and losing your support network adds another layer to the crap casserole, to turn this into a terrible food metaphor.

I'm wondering when is the best time, and how, to tell a prospective dating person that you are in a polyamorous relationship. Obviously before any physicality, but in a more granular sense, when? Call, text, first date?--Poly Wanna Answer When it comes to potentially delicate subject matters, I've found it's really best to say it with a cake. Or, if cake's not their thing, then a really large cookie, the kind that come in those delightful mall boutiques next to Orange Julius. Nothing says romance like “My penis likes you, just not exclusively!
