Well I guess this is growing up.  Marketed under the guise of Protein Power Packs, or P3, Oscar Meyer has launched a new product that's basically an adult Lunchable. The packs, which the company announced Feb. 24, are "designed for active consumers looking for a snack to help keep them going throughout the day," according to a press release. In reality, that means it's a three-compartment plastic pack that looks a lot like a skinny Lunchable filled with meat, nuts and cheese.

**1/2 (out of four) Finally! Unlike this week's "The Bag Man" and recent, ridiculous parts like Richard Nixon in "Lee Daniels' The Butler," John Cusack finally takes a role that suits him with "Adult World. " He's Rat Billings, a once-revered, now nearly forgotten poet; a quietly wounded intellectual, moderately irritated but mildly, secretly welcoming change to his routine. That loud baby bird squawking around her cage is Amy (Emma Roberts), who majored in poetry at Syracuse and wants Rat, her all-time favorite writer, as a mentor.

Video games have a Donkey Kong-sized image problem, and it's only gotten worse since last month's massacre in Newtown, Conn. In the weeks following the Sandy Hook shooting, the NRA has blamed the "corrupting shadow industry" of games for contributing to a violent society. Vice President Joe Biden has made plans to meet with video game makers as part of his gun violence task force. A few towns or community groups have encouraged boycotts, burnings or buybacks of blood-soaked video games.

Is it healthy to get circumcised well into your mid-40s? And can not being circumcised cause urinary tract infections?--Anon. Like my first boyfriend, I thank you sir, for putting the fate of your penis in my very unqualified hands. Circumcision is a hotly contested issue among those who have penises (those without prefer to spend their time learning how to grow basil off of fire escapes). Circumcision among adults is even more controversial, the prevailing theory being, "Well, you've had it this far and it's gone OK, right?"

*** (out of four) “Hey, kids! Wouldn't you love to see a movie that touches on the early days of filmmaking? You might learn about how frames are spliced together to create an illusion on screen! And there's lots of steam coming out of pipes and trains. In 3-D!” Fine. So this dignified family adventure from Martin Scorsese - yes, that Martin Scorsese - doesn't scream “Huge hit with short-attention-span kids,” despite the presence of, uh, some fun-looking wind-up toys.

As the son of a former player and coach in the NBA, Mike Dunleavy Jr. has been around basketball his entire life. Entering his 12th season, the swingman came to Chicago as a free agent last summer to help the Bulls reach their goal of an NBA title. He might be waiting awhile. Although Dunleavy averages a respectable 11.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists this season, the Bulls are just 17-19 entering Tuesday's home game against Phoenix. More important, who knows when Derrick Rose comes back and how effective he'll be?

Virgins: They Are People, Too. Did you know 100 percent of people were once virgins? It's true. And now Psychology Today has another interesting statistic about these mysterious creatures. According to one study, a full 3 percent of adult Americans say they will wait until marriage to have sex. That's about ten million people keeping their pants on until the big day (or, presumably, the night after the big day, but if you've been waiting that long, I'd do it in the limo on the way to the reception too)

The two brothers should have been choosing the colleges they would attend, but instead they were behind bars, unsure whether they would graduate from high school at all. After getting arrested three years ago for breaking into businesses in the northwest suburbs to steal booze, the teens remained in jail for a few months as they waited their turn to attend a four-month boot camp as their sentences. At 17, they had been charged as adults with felony burglary. Had circumstances unfolded a few years later, everything might have been different.

** (out of four) “Young Adult” asks us to root for a bad person to stop being so bad. Yet Mavis (Charlize Theron) does nothing to suggest that she earns this attention. If anything, she  represents the exact kind of fallen star who thinks she deserves more than she really does. More problematically, the reunion of director Jason Reitman and writer Diablo Cody (“Juno”) establishes characters everyone recognizes - those doomed to live in the past of both high school triumphs and humiliations - and finds no undiscovered territory or unexpected...

Dominic West won't be playing a serial killer again any time soon. The British actor, best known for his role as hard-drinking detective Jimmy McNulty on "The Wire," had his fill of the darker side while filming "Appropriate Adult" ( 9 p.m. Saturday, Sundance Channel; 3 stars ). In the movie, he plays real-life serial killer Fred West (no relation), who with his wife Rosemary killed at least 12 young women and girls in Gloucester, England.
