DO

(Free!) Here Is Your Alibi

The Frontier 1106 W. Thorndale Ave.

No justification needed—hey, it's free and it's BYOB—to step into this storefront theater for a stand-up show where comedians Mike Timlin, Mike Bobrinskoy, Shane Copland, Timmy Brochu, Kelsie Huff and host Lev Kalmens give you plenty of excuses to laugh. 8 p.m. More: hereisyouralibi.com

(Free!) 'Bellboys, Bears and Baggage'

Redmoon 2120 S. Jefferson St. 312-850-8440

RSVP (boxoffice@redmoon.org) to catch a free preview of Redmoon's new tragic-comic, choose-your-own-adventure spectacle—inspired by Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale" and his famously enigmatic stage direction, "Exit, pursued by a bear"—which takes place in multiple rooms throughout the company's 16,000-square-foot headquarters. 7-9 p.m. (every 30 minutes). Previews run through Saturday; the show officially opens Sunday and runs through June 8 ($30; $15 for students).
