That means it's time to dig up all the necessary accessories (sunscreen, tank top, flip-flops) and head to the corner of Ashland and Barry avenues to soak up the sunshine, music and fest food.

RedEye is launching a new feature this summer: our fest test. Check back here each week for a new challenge designed to help you make the most of the weekend. Snap a photo of yourself or a friend completing the challenge and post it to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #getfested. The best will make it to our paper and website!
This week's challenge: Have a cute puppy (or a friend with one)? Show us a sweet dog enjoying the sun at Mayfest using the hashtag #getfested.
