Police warn of someone shooting 'projectiles' at lakefront apartments

Someone has been damaging the windows of high-rise lakefront apartments this month, police officials say, by "shooting projectiles" at the glass.

According to a community alert released Tuesday afternoon, an unknown person was reportedly damaging the windows from a perch somewhere in the area of Lake Shore Drive.

The incidents reportedly all took place in the 100 block of North Harbor Drive. The first was reported April 20 at 5:30 a.m., the second on April 27 at 9:45 p.m., and the third on April 28 at 11:30 p.m.
