SIP & PAINT
Bottles & Bottega
2900 N. Lincoln Ave. 773-313-9133; 1241 S. Michigan Ave. 773-269-6570
For a night that’s one part art class and one part cocktail hour, host a painting party at this studio’s Lakeview or South Loop locations. B&B provides aprons and supplies for guests to create their own masterpiece; you can even bring in a nude model for inspiration. Rates start at $40 per person with a minimum of 10 people for a three-hour event; BYO wine and snacks.

COCKTAIL PARTY
CH Distillery
564 W. Randolph St. 312-707-8780
One of Chicago’s newest distilleries— and prettiest cocktail bars—CH Distillery offers the experience of tasting spirits just feet from where they were created. The cocktail bar offers a view of the gleaming stills where the gin, vodka and whiskey are made, while the distillery itself also is available for cocktail receptions that include appetizers from the bar’s seasonal menu. Contact food and beverage director Krissy Schutte for details.

BREWERY CRAWL
Chicago Brew Bus 773-340-2739
Hanging out at a brewery for your bachelor or bachelorette party is fun, but a whirlwind tour of three in one day? That’s something to really remember. Hop aboard the Chicago Brew Bus and choose from Brewery Tour Tickets ($59 each), which includes beer samplings and a quick tour at three Chicago breweries, or rent the entire bus for $325 for four hours, which includes transportation only. Operators are members of the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild and make stops that include Lake Effect Brewing, Haymarket Pub & Brewery and Revolution Brewing, among others, so you know you’re getting a beer-focused experience. Contact Kevin Salvi for more information.
