A Chicago man was arrested Sunday evening after he was identified as the person who stole an air conditioner, an XBox and a set of video games from a home last spring.

Alfred Michael Thomas-Jones, 25, of the 5300 block of South May Street, was arrested near his home on charges of residential burglary after police used fingerprint information to connect him to a burglary that was reported overnight on May 3, 2013.

According to county prosecutors, Thomas-Jones broke into a home in the 900  block of West Marquette Road by climbing through a kitchen window, and once inside stole a variety of electronics, including an air conditioning unit and an XBox video game console.

Thomas-Jones was brought to the Cook County Criminal Courthouse on Monday afternoon and released on a 40,000 I-bond with electronic home monitoring required.
