The new, socially conscious BYOB chicken shack from chef Jared Van Camp (Kinmont, Nellcote and others) features chicken sandwiches ($6) with your choice of meat (breast or thigh), seasoning (pickle brined or Nashville Hot) and housemade bread (biscuit or bun). Socially conscious, you ask? The chicken is local, farm-raised and butchered daily; partial proceeds benefit gay rights organizations. 11 a.m. until chicken runs out.

Smoked Reuben Sandwich

Prep your palate for St. Patrick's Day with this Irish-style sandwich featuring thin-sliced, smoked corned beef, house-made cole slaw and melted Swiss on toasted rye. 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Through March 17. $8.

Mac Madness

Chef Amanda Downing kicks off a week of daily-changing macaroni specials starting with Lamb Mac (red wine-braised lamb shoulder, oven-dried tomatoes, spinach, feta cheese; $16). Additional macaroni-based regular menu items include a Mac & Cheese Attack Burger (black angus patty, fried mac 'n' cheese buns; $15) and Chili Mac (four-cheese mac, turkey chili; $16). 11:30 a.m.-1:30 a.m. Through Friday.

Paul Bastien of Drumbar steps in to serve up his specialty drink, The Highway Man (apple brandy, Averna, lemon, juice raspberry simple syrup, bitters, cinnamon; $13), from which partial proceeds benefit local organization Big Shoulders Chicago. Then, head across the street to Drumbar (201 E. Delaware Place) for an 11 p.m.-1 a.m. after-party. 9-11 p.m. No cover.
