Well I guess this is growing up.
Marketed under the guise of Protein Power Packs, or P3, Oscar Meyer has launched a new product that's basically an adult Lunchable. The packs, which the company announced Feb. 24, are "designed for active consumers looking for a snack to help keep them going throughout the day," according to a press release.
In reality, that means it's a three-compartment plastic pack that looks a lot like a skinny Lunchable filled with meat, nuts and cheese. According to the release, the packs have at least 13 grams of protein, and include combinations like applewood smoked turkey, marbled Colby and Monterey jack cheese and dry-roasted almonds.
Single 2-ounce packs sell for $1.79, and triple packs go for $4.99. No word if there's a pizza edition coming, which was arguably the best Lunchable.
