February 27, 2014|Matt Pais, @mattpais | RedEye movie critic

Mark your calendars for 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, "Divergent" fans: That's when you can start buying tickets online for the film, opening March 21 and guaranteed to be the best movie of all time. (Note: This is not guaranteed but merely the hopes of all die-hard supporters of novels brought to the big screen, isn't it?)

In case somehow you're dying to see the movie but don't own the book, anyone who purchases tickets Tuesday will get a free download of the book, written by suburban Chicago-raised Veronica Roth. If that wasn't enough to get you pumped for the locally made film, starring Shailene Woodley and set in a futuristic Chicago in which society is divided into factions highlighting bravery, honesty and more, get this: If you buy tickets to the film on Fandango or MovieTickets.com any time before March 21, you can enter to win a walk-on part in "Insurgent," the sequel slated for release March 2015. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
