Celebrate the online magazine highlighting female musicians—hence the reference to the "xx" chromosome in its title—with founder/music critic Selena Fragassi and executive editor Carly Fisher, who host live performances by Xoe Wise, Architecture and Meagan Hickman and jump behind the turntables for a DJ set at this fundraiser to expand the magazine's offerings. 7-11 p.m. $10. Local burlesque artists break out their tassels and feathers in the preliminary round of this competition where the audience determines—based on performance skills, creativity, costuming, music and stage presence—which dancers move on to the 7 p.m. Wednesday semifinals and finals to vie for a $1,000 cash prize and a 10 p.m. Thursday showcase. 7-10 p.m. No cover.
