Chicago Doyle, 10-year-old New Zealand rugby player, a YouTube hit

January 31, 2014|By Mick Swasko, @swasko | RedEye

Sweet name, kid.

A 10 year old from New Zealand is gaining fame for his rugby skills, and his name is Chicago Doyle. In just over a week, a highlight reel of the pre-teen's rugby skills has amassed more than 100,000 YouTube views. While it's by no means viral, it's impressive considering the sheer number of highlight reels that barely see the light of day on the video sharing site.

The attention was enough to gain him a video segment on Yahoo! New Zealand, and a follow-up where he met his rugby hero Shawn Johnson.

He's not the only one in the family with an awesome name, either. His brother, Geronimo, is a rugby player as well. His mom, who uploaded the YouTube video, is Hurricane, also a rugby player.
