What year is it?!
The Jumanji board used in the 1995 Robin Williams movie has surfaced on eBay, and there's a bidding war going on. The prop, as described by the movie's director Joe Johnston, is a foam cast of the wooden boards used in closeup shots in the movie. The foam was necessary for scenes where actors would carry the board around.
The description also states that one of the hinges of the board was fixed by the director, the damage likely a result of being dropped during filming. It's also noted that the prop itself is screen used in the movie.
It also comes with a certificate of authenticity, and after 189 bids, the going price is $60,400.
Shipping, however, is free.
