Christmas may have just passed, but if you're paying attention to some of TV's biggest shows, you'd think it was Halloween. There has been one common theme as fall finales wind down, and it's not snow or merrymaking. It's death. Main characters are dropping faster than snowflakes, so we're letting you know whom you should be grieving by taking a look at what their headstones might look like. BEWARE SPOILERS!

Clay Morrow, 'Sons of Anarchy'

Clay was booted from his position as president of the club after numerous betrayals. However, he is the only person the IRA is willing to work with, putting a damper on the club's lucrative gunrunning business. A deal is made to break Clay out of prison so he can go to Ireland and organize the gun trade from there. Instead, he becomes first of the four main characters to be killed off.

Headstone: Luck of the Irish

Tara Knowles, 'Sons of Anarchy'

Tara is on the brink of taking her sons into witness protection to stop them from leading a life like their father's. She changes her mind at the last second and decides to stay as Jax puts himself in prison to protect her and the boys. Let's just say that was a bad decision.

Peter Pan, 'Once Upon a Time'

Pan abandons his son, Rumpelstiltskin, in favor of immortal youth and a life in Neverland. After causing nonstop mayhem for several episodes, he curses Storybrooke, trying to turn it into a new Neverland that Pan himself can rule. Someone close to him makes sure this won't happen.

Headstone: Forever young

Nicholas Brody, 'Homeland'

He was a soldier-turned-terrorist-turned-triple-agent-turned-congressman-turned-quadruple-agent. He is sent to Iran to murder on behalf of the CIA when he is caught and sentenced to death. Despite Carrie's attempts to once again save him, he is publicly hanged in Tehran.

Headstone: A true flip-flopping politician

Brian Griffin, 'Family Guy'

The family dog survived the Nazis, a galaxy far, far away, and a tour of duty in Iraq. Who would have thought it would be a simple game of street hockey that would be his undoing? After living a very human life, Brian meets a very dog-like death being hit by a car. But don't worry. Leave it to little Stewie Griffin to travel back in time to resurrect his buddy.

Headstone: 1999-2013, 2013-

Herschel Greene, 'The Walking Dead'

He was the voice of wisdom for a group trying to survive the zombie apocalypse. However, tensions continued to rise between the Rick's crew and the Governor. Poor old Herschel paid the price, and that was only halfway through the midseason finale. The bloodbath just escalated from there.
