Snarf's of River North fires all employees by email days before Christmas

Chicago Grid reports: A River North sandwich shop fired all of its employees by email Sunday night, just days before Christmas.

Grid confirmed that Snarf's Sub Shop at 600 W. Chicago terminated all employees, stating "increased competition and losses" and a decision to remodel and reconcept the store as the reason for the firings.

Additionally, Fight for 15, a Chicago-based organization that is fighting for the rights of retail workers and calls for a $15 minimum wage, tweeted the following this morning:
