Keeper leagues are picking up steam in fantasy football, and I am a big fan of the concept. Here are three players you should consider hanging on to if you are in such a league, or consider drafting them in the early rounds next year.

Alshon Jeffery, Bears wide receiver

Jeffery is developing into a top-line wide receiver. After an injury-plagued rookie season, he's a big reason why the Bears have one of the best receiving corps in football. His stats are off the charts; two 200-yard receiving games, more than 1,100 receiving yards total and five touchdowns.

Josh Gordon, Cleveland wide receiver

It certainly is the year of the wide receiver, and you can add Gordon to the list of premier pass catchers. Gordon is the Browns' all-everything player, and the stats back it up: More than 1,200 yards, seven touchdowns and 113 targets. Another feather in Gordon's cap is despite playing with three quarterbacks in 2013, he has performed well with all of them.

Knowshon Moreno, Denver running back

Moreno is developing into a complete running back. Although many thought he wouldn't even make the Broncos roster out of training camp, he has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy owners. This former first-rounder's stats are living up to the hype: more than 800 rushing yards, over 400 yards receiving and 11 total touchdowns.
