The popular Wicker Park food fest moves indoors with pop-up lunches—and a view overlooking Christkindlmarket—featuring freshly prepared bites from a rotating lineup of trucks and vendors including Pecking Order, Dia de los Tamales, Bang Bang Pie Shop and more. Noon-2 p.m. Then, 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday through Dec. 13. No cover.

The Kinzie Hotel soon takes over the Amalfi Hotel space and to celebrate, an actor costumed as early Chicago settler John Kinzie gives away Glazed and Infused doughnuts at State and Lake Streets, Garrett's popcorn on Michigan Avenue, Chicago professional sports game tickets at Millennium Park and after-work surprises at Rockit Bar & Grill (22 W.
