Hump Day camels from the Lincoln Park Zoo

Hey, hey! What day is it?

Yeah, it's already Hump Day Wednesday. Mark the weekly occasion by brushing up on Chicago's resident Bactrian camels captured above eating flowers on Mother's Day this year at Lincoln Park Zoo

A quick rundown from the zoo's fact sheet:

Bactrian camels are an endangered species, can reach 7-feet tall and 1,500 pounds. Both the male and female of the species have two humps, and can be found throughout China and Mongolia. Right now, the camels should be well into growing their winter coats.
